The department, with only three faculty members, faces challenges in providing adequate guidance for placements and syllabus due to staff shortages. Despite limited faculty and insufficient laboratory facilities, teaching quality remains high. The faculty is approachable and maintains positive student interactions, particularly in the fashion technology department. The college does not offer internship placements; students must find internships independently, with faculty providing guidance when needed. Both paid and unpaid internships are available.
Tuition fees are Rs 65,000 per year for a merit seat and approximately Rs 90,000 per year for a management seat. Bus fees vary between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 annually, based on the student's location. An additional Ethnotech fee of Rs 11,000 per year applies. Scholarships based on community and government schemes like CENTAC offer fee reductions to eligible students. Other costs include transportation, maintenance, breakage, laboratory, and book fees. Importantly, there are no donation fees required for the course.
The fee structure aligns with that of other engineering courses at the institution.
