Admission to the college can be secured through direct admission using WBJEE ranks and 12th-grade marks, including an interview and interactive session with applicants and their parents. Eligibility is based on academic performance and personal interests, assisting in stream selection. JELET is another admission option. The college environment is positive, with supportive faculty and management. Faculty members are knowledgeable and available to help students, some having industrial experience, though their number is limited.
The college fees, comparable to other engineering institutions, are relatively expensive for middle-class families. Main fees cover essential facilities, but additional charges for exams, cultural activities, and potential industrial visits are extra. Overall, fees are moderate for a private college. Internship interviews are conducted for 2nd and 3rd-year students in CSE, EE, and ECE departments. Of 80 students, 15 were selected for internships in cybersecurity. The department's HOD is supportive of internships and training.
Scholarships are available for meritorious and financially needy students. The TFW scholarship reduces tuition fees based on family finances, and students with 75% marks qualify for Vivekananda scholarships. Minors can also receive scholarships.
