Review of MSEC

Likes

I liked the college for its staffs most of the teaching staffs have completed PhD
It is first self financing collage in tamilnadu
For chemical engineering fees is less as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

The hostel food is worst in MSEC no hygiene and clean
Hostel fee is very high though not well managed
Infrastructure is not good for the fee paid

I chose this college only because this is in my Hometown my family can't afford hostel fee so i can't choose other colleges away from my hometown The admission process is simple you can get seat via counseling or management. For EEE the cutoff needed is just 90 above. Aids requires cutoff around 160 or above to get seat via counseling. I didn't get rejected from any other colleges

Likes

The teaching is good, but the teaching method is somehow feels like in shcool. But teacher's put effort to make their Student score well and avaerage student to get pass their exams
In my college student teacher co operation is like professional and not so friendly but we learn many things from them and from the college
They conduct programs not much, but they conduct some decent amount of events and they motivate students to participate in culturals, seminars and many other activities and staff don't usually critize students for their weak academics

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good, and the hostel is one of the worst, and the food is not so well
The rules ans regulations are so strict, it's not feel like that we are i a college, it more feel like we are school
Bus facilities are often disappointing, the buses for long distances are ok, but for near distance area they didn't have a specific stop boys students have to jump from the bus or rush to get in their stops

Admission:

Eligibility of be courses should be have above 50% cut off if below the fees goes higher, and for arch it should be 55% and also for b tech courses, they have scholarship for many students, there's no entrance exam conducted for the scholarship or admission for the courses, B.arch only have the entrance exam NATA and no other degress have entrances, it must be good if they make the admission process simplier rather than make students walk around the college for hours and hours

Environment for study is felt better comparatively.
Experienced and valuable faculty sharing the experiences of practical applications made learning very interested .

Admission:

60% in higher secondary examinations is the basic criteria for joining the courses. I felt better having frequent examinations that helped me to gain more marks. It was helped me too I placement also.

MSEC - The College to study and Improve yourself.

Likes

The Faculty members. They were very friendly and helping minded. We can contacted them any time for doubts.
There were no discrimination based on the religion. We have offered separate place for prayer in our hostel.
College management always support students.

Dislikes

Climate. The climate was always hot in the area.
There were not much facilities to improve the English communication knowledge.
The management should try to conduct Campus Interviews very often.

Admission:

I was applied for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counselling conducted by Anna university and TamilNadu government. I had scored 966/1200 marks in my 12th standard and 165 cut off marks out of 200. I went to Tirunelveli government college to get the application form and paid 500rs. as application fees. They allotted me a random number based on my cut off and community. I went to chennai for counselling and choose this college based on my friends review.

Admission:

Excellent process No need to change. cut off is 200 out of 300. eligibility of course is physics, chemistry and maths shall be 60% on higher secondary that's it. Reservations are available as per government norms

Study time after college timing in the evening.

Admission:

The maximum eligibility is 12th completed or diploma. Can find the application forms on the official website. I got that opportunity in the government quota. I got the cutoff 152 marks. I have selected the IT department. Not only that all courses and faculties are very good and trained the students well in their fields. Focusing on communication is the important thing.

Good Thoughts

Admission:

This course is famous at that time. We CAN GO EITHER ELECTRONIC LINE OR SOFTWARE LINE. TELECOMMUNICATION LINE ALSO CAN GO. So we can get job in 3 line and we have many opportunities so even though it is a bit tough subject I chose this course. The result is also good for me as I got job.
