The library is pretty good, big, beautiful and i like it.
The fee structure is pretty decent compared to other colleges and you get a lot of scholarships and financial assistance in our college they even provide cash prize awards for 1st 400 students every year.
The placements are good and internship also provided the average package is 6 lacks and in this 2024 year the placement percentage is 98% it is very good compared to other colleges good work culture is there

Dislikes

the restaurant system, unlike the mess system here they have restaurant system which i absolutely hate
Four semesters a year, which is very heavy and burden to the students
and dinner is closed at 8pm.it is difficult to survive

My personal experience about in my college

Likes

We have placement training from the first year itself
We have communication assessment and Technical assessment from the first year itself
Our college conducts multiple hackathon for inter college students the fee is free

Dislikes

Our system has flexi learning which is good aswell as not adaptable for the students as sometimes we don't get to register the slot
We cannot make permanent friends over there as we are in a flexi learning system our course and class changes frequently
The teaching is more only focused on getting us pass the exam no practical knowledge is provided

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for placement training as they offer internships facilities it makes it more easier for the student to get the experience of industrial training overall the placement from our college offer package upto 25 lakh per annum but mostly starts from 10 lakh per annum

I have seen a felxi learn system which is more beneficial and better compared to other college it's easy and fast
We have a capestone project which is a real time product solution for every subject it's mandatory
We have a hackathon club which was we eager and supportive

Dislikes

I prefer outside food college food is not better and the main reason is hostel is worse
They have classroom with Ac which will.not work properly
They have built many floor in college but have only one elevator

Placement Experience:

I have seen most the top blue chip companies are coming to placement and recently amazon have selected a person from my college which has a salary package of 45 lakhs per annum and there was placement cell

About the examination pattern and infrastructure
The culturals which are conducted for 3 days every ear in summer with lots of celebrity and celebration.
They follow american schooling methods like credits for every course

Dislikes

The rules like arms block by which there will be no chance if marking attendance
The issues in arms portal which is used to pay examination fee

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placement and campus placement drives and training statusfrom then. the company's visit in the past year are dell, tcs, accenture and birla cement, and 70 more companies.13 Lpa is the highest package and 85 percentage of people get placed every year .

A students journey at SIMATS

Likes

We have a great infrastructure and the labs are good.
We have the opportunity to choose the faculty and the subjects which we want to study in each semester.
We have a lot of canteens in the college premises.

Dislikes

There will always a construction work happening in the college which causes a lot of pollution sometimes.
We will not have any extra circular activities and we have only two fests which are the final and Pongal fests.
In our college the strength is more than expected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects which we are intersted at that time of the selection of the subjects we can take those subjects without any issuses. It will help you handle any situation easily. I would request the college in the area of the improvements is changing of the circulam regularly .

The campus is very good and attractive for freshers, nice play ground , good infrastructure and maintenance, Non teaching staff is very good . The main intresting thing about our college is it's greenary it's is one of the major plus point.
Security is very strict which is good in controlling students and their informal activities that's happening in college.
The website of our college called " saveetha arms " is very good ,it's like a common platform between college and students. Everything is reflected in it like academic performance, results,awards ,co curricular activities,fees etc...

Dislikes

Teaching staff is not that good. It's common to have some facilities who are not skilled much so it's the major drawback of our college
There is no limit for the admissions . The college strength is very high which is difficult to make every student placed in job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Rankings:sse is accredicted with an A grade by NAAC and secured the 43rd rank in the national institutional rankiing framework
placement opportunities:70% placement requiring students to secure at least one job offer to be eligible for their degree
focuses on project based learning allowing students to gain practical experience

Dislikes

food and hostel facilities: some students have reported dissatisfaction with the maintainance of food in the canteen and hostel
examination process challenging ,it can be difficult to pass exam mostly they will make sure to fail students in exams
students to secure job offer for obtaining their degree may add pressure on some students

in my college it is good in academics as compared to other colleges because the teaching was good ,good lab claases is there,per year 3 semesters will happen.they will conduct more exams to practice and give good guidence to pass the exam

Quality of study and teaching from faculty
Quality of food provided by canteen was very clean and neat

Actually I don't like the way the courses are alloted here students only select the rondom course from their list of subjects including faculty also student will choose but frome this year they totally changed and it was good curriculum

I liked the infrastructure of my college it seen to be very dedicated and peaceful mindset of blocks and infrastructure and the places was very good and ground. Too I like very very much I loved with this infrastructure
I like the gardens in my college it's very very good and smells like a wow and my campus was a eco green campus and I have seen different different plants in my college garden and flowers too I like very much

Dislikes

The thing I won't like in my college is the roads are building at the same time of college timings it may cause a huge traffic in our campus and some rainy effects it seen to be durty when the rains falls

Placement Experience:

Our college offers strong campus placements with good connections to top companies for those not opting for placements, we focus on skill development and internship ls, ensuring solid employability post graduation

I like the infrastructure , it seen to be different from the other colleges and place which is so peaceful to see this blocks and grounds , I need to walk early morning,so I just go to ground and i will walk
I also like the placements i seen very huge number of companies are coming for interviews and soany members are getting job as a average package of six lakh per annum, so the placements also i like in this college

Dislikes

May be the timings , because my college starts from 8:00 Am and it will ends at 3:00 pm it's a six hours class for a day , but early morning at 8:00 am wakeuping is not a joke i thought if it starts from 9:00 am it's good
And also at hostel nothing they are allowing like snacks because some of the students are bringing alcohol in stead of saying juices , the main problem is for those who will eat more for them they can't able to get a snacks

Placement Experience:

The college offers excellent placement opportunities with strong industry ties. Many top companies visit for recruitment, ensuring good career prospects. For others, the skills gained enhance employability significantly.
