The college helps with internships with the High Court of Tamil Nadu, senior advocates and NGO's. Otherwise faculties help by arranging internship with their friends who are advocates. We can choose separate internship from any place where law is practiced like government offices, lawyers office, courts, NGO's etc.,.

You can apply for internship through your college or to anyone you know. Through college there will be certain procedures to follow which can be done while contacting your proctor who will guide you through the process. The internship must be done in law offices and it should be 3 weeks in 5 different places .

As in law school the students mostly get opportunities in law firm and sometimes they get chance to work in commercial places or corporate law departments. I'm in chennai and I got internship through college in Madras Highcourt. I didn't get any stipend but I learned many things while doing my internship. I learnt make typed sets for cases, filed and numbered the case and also followed up various criminal cases

According to internships in law, you can do it on your own with your contacts or can refer help from the law school too. They help us with internships and let students explore. They conduct so many MUNs and International conferences that we gain knowledge.
VIT is known for its good placement rate and the same goes true when it comes to placement of law department. Campus drives are conducted annually and decent packages of around 4.8 lpa to 5 lpa are offered to students. However when it comes to internship students have to make efforts on their own as University doesn't provides that good options.
