JNMC Wardha Admission FAQs 2025

Ques. Whether admission to MBBS course in JNMC Wardha can be obtained without clearing NEET?

Ans. No, admission to MBBS at JNMC Wardha solely depends on NEET UG marks as required by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Direct admission or management quota is not provided without clearing NEET. The candidates need to pass NEET UG with the minimum percentile and then undergo Maharashtra State CET counselling for the 85% state quota or All India Counselling by MCC for the 15% seats remaining. Even NRI candidates have to pass NEET for them to be considered for the NRI quota.

Ques . What is the procedure for students applying for paramedical and allied health courses such as BPT or B.Sc Nursing at JNMC Wardha?

Ans. For allied health programs like BPT, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and B.Pharm, admission is through performance in the DMIHER-Common Entrance Test (CET) organized by Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research. Candidates who are interested need to get themselves registered online, submit the application form, upload documents, and pay INR 500 as an application fee. The candidates clearing the exam will be invited for counselling and admission processes. It's a purely merit-based process with guidelines as per DMIHER (DU).

Ques . How is counselling done for JNMC MBBS admissions, and which students are eligible for state quota seats?

Ans. JNMC Wardha maintains the standard counselling pattern as given by the State CET Cell of Maharashtra for the 85% state quota seats. To be qualified, applicants should be Maharashtra domicile and should register on the official CET Cell portal after qualifying in NEET UG. They should complete their preferences, upload documents, and pay the counselling fee. The other 15% seats come under All India Quota on which students from any state can apply through MCC counselling. Seat allocation is performed depending upon NEET rank, category, and seat availability.

Ques . Do PG and Super-specialty courses in JNMC need state-level counselling registration as well?

Ans. Yes, applicants for admission into MD/MS (PG) and DM/MCh (Super-specialty) courses in JNMC Wardha must first pass through NEET PG or NEET SS, respectively. After the result announcement, students need to undergo state-level counselling (Maharashtra CET Cell) for 50% state quota seats and MCC counselling for 50% AIQ seats. The process is document verification, preference locking, and payment of the counselling/application fee. Final admissions are made on the basis of merit rank in NEET PG/SS, filled preferences, and seat availability.

You have to take the allotment letter to the college allotted and begin the admission process. In my college, there are no reservation benefits.
