Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and Technology (GZSCCET), Bathinda is the first institute in Punjab established in 1989. Initially set up as Government Engineering College, it was converted to an autonomous institute as Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology (GZSCET) in year 1992.

The college offers several courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in various field such as Engineering, Science, Management and Computer Applications.

Admission in B.Tech and B.Arch is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main and NATA respectively. The college fill up the vacant seats, if any, by giving direct admission to the eligible candidates.

Admission to PG courses is done on the basis of marks scored in pre-qualified examination.

Giani Zail Singh Engineering College offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in various specializations for a duration of four years. The college also offers Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) to the students who want to pursue their career in Architecture. The duration period for B.Arch is five years. Apply for UG Courses

Candidates who have studied and passed 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects will have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION. Marks obtained in JEE will decide the fate of the eligible candidates. The college also offers Direct Admission only if some seats are vacant.

Admission in B.Arch is done on the basis of marks scored in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Degree course in the academic session shall be conducted by Council of Architecture.

Giani Zail Singh Engineering College M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Sc Admission 2023

At postgraduate level, the college offers several courses such as Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science (M.Sc) for a duration of two years. Giani Zail Singh Engineering College also offers Master of Computer Application (MCA) and MCA (Lateral) for a duration of three years and two years respectively. Apply for PG Courses

Admission in the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of marks scored in pre-qualifying examination. However, candidates must have studied and passed graduation level in relevant discipline to meet the eligibility criteria.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Admission:

I didn't apply for other colleges. I chose this college as it was near my hometown and there were circumstances which prevented me from going too far from home. That's why, I chose this college. The admission process is simple. You need to have passed your senior secondary education in any central and state board. Exams accepted are JEE Mains and Board examinations. Most of the admissions here are based on counselling sessions, even after that, there is option of direct admission. Admission is quick and can be done by student himself also. Overall admission process is good.

This college is one of the oldest architecture colleges in Punjab. They have a huge alumni support as well. This college was also awarded as the best architecture college in North India in the Year 2019-2021

Admission:

Firstly there is no entrance exam for admission in any course except phd. There is a ik gujral and mrsptu counseling for admission. Firstly you have to register on mrsptu official website for admission acc to your course and percentage in 12th you can secure a seat. Also there is a direct admission option available for nearby students

Admission:

60% percentage is needed in PCM course in the senior secondary or in diploma course from any Institute or university. Application form is available online in the university website only. Reservation details are also mentioned in the university websites. Sometimes previous fee structure are provided by admission cell and then again changes the old to new semester fee after taking admission

There are some eligibility to get admission in the college like percentage. I took admission through my JEE rank and there is one admission form we need to sumbit. There is exams after every alternate month throught the semester. They need to make the admission process more transparent.
