Likes

I liked the course and the job opportunities it provides.
The faculties are very talented and supportive.
There are lots of conferences and national level training programmes occurs in the college.

Dislikes

The campus size is small.It should be a little large.

Admission:

I came into know about this college in my tenth class after that after I finally decided to join the college. To join the college you have to appear for OUAT ENTRANCE EXAM. This exam is of 200 marks which is computer based. The subject's are physics,chemistry and biology which have to study. You have to clear the minimum cutoff marks. For the evaluation of percentile 25% of class 12th and 11th are taken into consideration.

Veterinary: A noble profession

Likes

Theory teaching style of all the faculties are excellent
All the slides are quite informative for the exams
Ratio aof girls and boys are almost 1:1.

Dislikes

Practical exposure of students can be more better
The infrastructure is good but can be developed
Study tour should be planned in order to expertise students

Admission:

No I haven't applied any other college but I had tried for Neet but I failed So I tried for this and got qualified. Eligibility - 12th (PCB/PCMB) OUAT conduct a test to select the students and top students get opportunity to get into the veterinary College

Veterinary: The noble profession

Likes

Teaching style of professor and their expertise
There are also facilities of co-curricular activities
I personally like the location of the college

Dislikes

Infrastructure facilities can be more better
Practical exposure is not so good . Although theory knowledge is satisfactory
There is always delay in getting scholarship

Admission:

I think it is a Nobel profession because we are treating the speechless animals who can't express their sufferings. I don't get rejection from any other college and at 1st attempt I cleared OUAT entrance and became eligible for veterinary course.

Overview of C.V.Sc and A.H, Bhubaneswar

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good even if old.
Teachers are highly friendly and cooperative.
Allocation of advisor to each student for performance evaluation weekly

Dislikes

Lack of AC in few department practical labs.
Since it is veterinary College you will find many dogs roaming.Be aware
Initially there was cafeteria which is closed now.

In other colleges like pursuing bsc I found it more job securing and reliable. In fact, the job securing is easier as compared to medical sciences. Since I didn't clear neet, rather than pursuing any normal course i preferred to opt this. My rank was good and i secured a general seat. The OUAT exam is held every year for admission in all constituent colleges of OUAT. Additionally, few seats are reserved for the candidates who take admission through neet score through VCI counseling.

Good ranking, good infrastructure, old and prestigious college of india. As it is VCI approved college and most important it is government college as fees is low and hostel and mess charges are also low. And situated in best city.

Veterinary education in India

Admission:

This is one of the best option if can't get a seat for MBBS or if you are an animal lover. The forms for state level will be available as 'OUAT Entrance form'.The form fill up starts from feb and ends in march last. The exam is conducted in April last or march first week. Exam is off 200 marks and consists of 4 sections (physics, chemistry, biology/math, and general reasoning). Duration of exam is 2 hours. A second form form B is to be filled after examination in which you have to upload your certificates etc. The merit list is prepared by using marks of 10th,12th and examination. You have to be in top scorers to qualify for Veterinary education. Also you can join by national level by giving NEET examination.
