Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As I am second year so I don't know more about placements because from 3rd year only placement will be available for me from my senior smoke they informed that placement will be some tough right now because many companies are not taking

The best thing about this college is the placement. Around 300 companies come every year for placements. TCS is a premier partner for our college and hence a bulk number of students get placed yearly. Many popular companies,startup's, core companies visit our college. If you are good enough and deserving, you can definitely get placed. Some companies include accenture, tcs, Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, prodapt, lti mindtree, L&T, Hyundai, emdedUR, econs systems, renault Nissan, Bosch, mitsogo, Mu sigma, Temenos etc.. The complete list is available in our college website. The number of offers depends on each company. TCS recruits 400 students yearly and it even goes up to 600 if students are good. Accenture - around 100 students Start-ups - around 20-25 students The overall total would range between 1500-1600 offers. Most of the roles would be graduate engineer trainee(GET) , software engineer, software developer, data analyst etc. Some students have multiple offers also. The average package is 4-4.5 LPA. The highest offer is 18 LPA Almost 95% of the students get placed. Some students opt for higher education. Students can start attending placements drives from end of 6th semester. The peak time is 7th semester where many companies come.

Generally placement are good in my college. We have placement percentage of 90% or more. Average package around 4 lpa and Max package 24 lpa. Placement started from 6th semester. Famous companies that hire from rec are ibm, Amazon, Zoho, Wipro, Infosys, TCS. My plan is to get placed in decent company through placement

We have a good number of lab hours for practical implementation of real time problems and well equipped lab with a feasible curriculum which encarves the way for a bright career. The exam is for 3 hours

The students do mostly become eligible for campus placements from 6 th semester. TCS, cognisant, TVs are sind companies that I remember that visited our college. Many other company also came which I do not remember. The college claims to give 90% placements. I plan on acquiring higher degrees

From 6 th semester itself, students can able to attend campus placements. The training also started from the first year itself for 20 days yearly once. From 6 th semester, a full-fledged placement training will be conducted. Many top companies visited here. The average package is around 4LPA.

The placements are at the rate of 98% every year. Our ensures every student must be placed in a company besides their scores in each semester every student must have aquired skills and the higest package ever in our college is 40 Lakhs per annum and least package is 4 lakhs per annum

My college Rajalakshmi was having good name for its placement last year they came up with 98 percentage placement in my department the placement classes were started from the 5th semester (3rd year) and the top companies like Zoho, Accenture,Wipro ,TCS and may companies were offered for placement the average salary package starts from 3LPA and the Highest is 18LPA the percentage is not a matter for placement it is purely based on the skills the average placement percentage is 98 percentage my plans is to get placed and develop my skills

There is a certain conditions to enter into the placement the conditions were the CGPA must be greater than 8 and the personality development training has been conducted as summer camp and winter camp, there will be two camps per year

This year, the placements was very low due to company recession and lay-offs. Also, the company only hire a single digit students and eventhough they secured an offer, it is getting revoked due to the current job market. Our placement process started from Semester 6th onwards.
