Review of a first year student

Likes

I liked the atmoshpere of the college and the activities that are taking place
Lot of competetions and workshop we can attend
Good teachers good facilities good wifi connection

Dislikes

Canteen is not that good have only limited food options
Infrastructure of the college is not that good
Not much good for sports.not much area is there to play

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available from 4th year onwards.some of the good companies like tcs,tech mahindra visit the college for placements.average package is about 3 lakhs.more than half the students are getting placed and few of them are going for higher studies

I liked the way they handle each childern,their teaching style
The programs of college is more expected and it's better than other engineering colleges
Their attitude towards children,the placements they are providing, Internships

Dislikes

Campus is actually not so big....Small garden and all

From Semester 6-7 students become eligible for campus placements.So many companies like vipro,Tech Mahindra,Tata, Amazon etc visited and enough offers are giving.They are providing 100% placements in our college.Almost every student's are placed in our college.

Placement Experience:

Placement Season begins from Semester 6. IT/Computer Science students are mostly the ones getting placed with good packages at reputed companies. The avg. Package for them ranges from 5 to 7 lakhs. For core branches, during my course period there were near zero placements.

The faculties and their commitment to students is very good.also the faculties are very friendly
The canteen facilities are sufficient for students
There is no ragging in Christ college of engineering.also a lot of programs where conducting

Somewhat syllabus is very tough to study

From 6 th semester students will be eligible for placements. Comparing to other college Christ college has a high rate of placements Percentage of students getting placed is more than 90%. My plan after degree is to get placed and find better job Highest salary pakage in Christ college of engineering is 15 lakhs per year Mainly core company's like Wipro etc

Likes

Teachers are good! They teach very well !
Teachers are ffriendly and we can ask anyone anything
Overall a good choice! If u want to score good marks u can join this college

Dislikes

Need improvement in college tour and iv oppurtunities
Need more practicals sessions and reduce theory sessions

Their teaching style and method is soo good.. they teach us the thory and thier indepth applications in real life . So we have good knowledge about the use and application of most of the things we learned. I was able apply the thoeries i have learned in real life .

Life at CCE

Likes

The faculty provides great support for our overall development as a person.
We get enough opportunity to attend hackathon and fest conducted by different colleges.
The new college canteen facility has improved when compared to the old one.

Dislikes

The faculties are strict and may shout at us
The pass mark is 60 %for your internal exams.
The college collects fine for everything

Placement Experience:

The computer science department has a much higher placement offers when compared to the rest of the courses. However the placement is being depreciative after every year.due to the lack of required skills for the industries.

Likes

High placement rate and avg placment is 3 lakh and above
Internships and workship oppurunities will be provided
Faculties are supportive and helping , their way of teaching is good

Dislikes

The area of campus is very less and cant park car inside
No ground for playing and fun activities like games are rare
Gardern area is there but only limited to a small area

Placement Experience:

3 sem is available or chance to get placed or enter an internship but the college has no specific restriction if u want to do an internship in the 1st year and promote placements and has a very efficient placement cell to guide you with internships and placement with placement training from first year onwords

Peace of environment.comfortable living As well as for studyingas
Clubs in the college to improve technical and managerial

Dislikes

Frequent exams provided in the college after completing each sem
There happens to be no vaccation or leave
All the events happens during saturday so that u cannot miss classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think since it's going to be a tech world in the coming future it's better to opt for CSE as there are more opportunities in this field. Since the future of our lies in this field I prefer studying it. The faculties are good.
