Vijaya College was established in Bangalore, Karnataka in the year 1945. The college is affiliated with Bengaluru city University, Bangalore.

Vijaya College offers B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, and BBM course in its UG program and each of this course is of three-year duration. It also offers M.Sc. and M.Com program of two-year duration and intake of 30 students in each.

Candidates shall apply offline for admission to any UG or PG course.
The application form is made available at the admission office of the college. The payment of the application fee shall be made through DD or in cash.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or HSC in relevant specialization from a recognized Board are considered eligible to apply for admission to any UG course viz. B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, and BBM course.
The minimum eligibility requirement for M.Sc. course is a pass in B.Sc. Degree in respective subject, while those who are seeking admission to M.Com program must hold B.Com Degree with minimum 50% marks.
Admission to B.Sc. and B.Com course is given solely on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
Candidates are admitted to BCA and BBM program through the entrance test conducted by the college.
Selection of the candidates for admission against 50% of the seats in both M.Sc. and M.Com course is done through Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted by Bangalore University.
For the remaining 50% seats in PG courses, admission is given on the basis of merit obtained in UG Degree course.

Vijaya College offers BSc, BBM, B.Com, and BCA program each of three-year duration. The college offers 12 subject options for the applicants to choose from in B.Sc. followed by any three subjects of their choice.

The minimum eligibility requirement for B.Sc., BCA, B.Com, and BBM course that candidates must have passed HSC or 10+2 in any relevant stream from a recognized Board.

Admission to B.Sc. and B.Com course is given on the basis of the merit in 10+2 examination, while for admission to BCA and BBM course, candidates have to qualify the entrance test conducted by the college.

Selection for BCA and BBM course is done by giving 50% weightage to marks obtained in the Entrance test and 50% weightage to the marks scored in 10+2.

Vijaya College M.Sc. and M.Com Admission 2024

Vijaya College offers M.Sc. program of two-year duration with 3 specializations and intake of 30 students in each specialization and also M.Com course of two-year duration with a total number of 30 seats.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to M.Sc. program is candidates shall have completed B.Sc. Degree course in Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics as one compulsory subject from a recognized University. Candidates who have passed B.Com program with minimum 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to get admission to M.Com course.

In both courses, 50% seats are filled through Common Admission Process of Bangalore University and the remaining 50% seats are allotted to the eligible candidates by the college on the basis of the candidates merit in the qualifying examination.

Vijaya College Application Process 2024

Admission:

I applied to SSMRV but that college was distanced far from my home hence choose to go to Vijaya. No i have not been rejected from any college. The admission process is after 2nd puc the student needs to take their documents and get admitted to the college.

I choose these college over other college because I know legacy of these college i studied my 12th here itself so I countinued my studies here itself and the fees also low compared to other college if we campere the fees of other college it's is too low so I had other reason to join these college

The only thing that made me join the college is that the price that made me join here they conside under government scheme as per the scheme some caste members can get additional discount compare to general students or from other colleges

Average student life in A typical Bommer college

Admission:

I choose this college because it's more affordable comparing to othe collages eg surana college which is situated nearby charge around 80k for our course but here 55k so it's about money but buy saving money i sacrificed my college life.
