The psychology department has 120 students across various levels, supported by 7 teachers and 1 lab assistant, creating a supportive and friendly learning environment. The program follows a semester system with two exams each year, which most find manageable, although a few students struggle to pass. Regular course fees are set at 9,000 rupees per semester, but these costs are covered by the government for eligible students from reserved categories.
The admission fee is universally 3,800 rupees, while laboratory exam fees are 1,150 rupees per student. Examination fees are reduced to 50 rupees for eligible students, compared to the standard 950 rupees. Students from OEC and economically disadvantaged backgrounds receive additional financial support, such as the egrantz scholarship, which offers 1,500 rupees monthly for students traveling over 8 km, and 750 rupees for shorter distances. Muslim students can access specific scholarships post-matriculation.
