Ques. What is the admission process for B.Div at Union Biblical Seminary?
Ans. The admission process involves submitting an online application, appearing for the Union Biblical Seminary Entrance Test (conducted by Senate of Serampore), and attending a personal interview. The entrance exam has three sections: English, General Knowledge & Aptitude, and Bible Knowledge. The interview panel consists of faculty members from different departments who assess the candidate's motivation, theological understanding, church background, and financial support. Final selection is based on combined performance in the entrance exam and interview.
Ques. Is hostel accommodation mandatory for B.Div students?
Ans. No, hostel accommodation is optional. However, the college provides separate hostels for male and female students with excellent facilities including 24/7 electricity and water supply, attached washrooms, spacious and airy rooms, and a good study environment. The hostel fee is ₹166,000 rupees for the entire 4-year program. Most students prefer to stay in the hostel as it provides a conducive environment for spiritual and academic development.
