Likes

They explain things very nicely and corporate with the students vey well.
The Library was too good too gather knowledge it was well maintained.
They provide best fresher party and their ground is also well maintained.

Dislikes

Many of the time class get postponed and unable to get any important info due to this.
They does not able to provide good placement and we have to work a lot in low salary.
College students are more involved with union and try to act more over smartly with others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The balance between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure in the lab is a deciding factor. The curriculum equips students with practical skills through live projects wich prepare us for real-world challenges.

Faculty and staff members of my department
College premises are big and clean and there are many plants.

Dislikes

Many departments held no classes thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think I was attracted to this subject because of practical experiences. I have always wanted to see the things which we cannot observe with naked eyes. And also this subject opens the door to many new opportunities. The timing of exams are very bad. We are supposed to get 6 months for each semester but we barely get 4 months. Also the syllabus is huge to cover in such a short span of time. But if you want you can I guess. But if you get 6 months we can understand better.

I liked the way of teaching. As a Mathematics student I would say that teachers are very good in this department
College is clean. There is toilet in every floor
Library place is very approachable. It's very silent place

Dislikes

For any official work students have to wait long
Teachers in office is not very cooperative with students.
The canteen food is not good and even costly

I was good at mathematics so I decided to take this subject in my graduation. This course has many academic benifits like you can apply for gate exam you can do MCA or MBA also and MSc ofcourse. This course is tough I must say that you need to focus on this .

Surendranath College: Good or Bad

Likes

The college have the great atmosphere of study. I like the students common room very much.
I think our campus is the best campus in All Kolkata's college. Surendranath College has it's own legacy.
The faculty of Surendranath College is very good . They have modern teaching methods as well as model lab for experiment.

Dislikes

Couple of college toilets is very dirty and u as our college is very big in size and many rooms inside
The main thing which is the worst part of this college is too much politics. That's why it becomes the most powerful College in Kolkata.
The students Union room is the worst place. You can see students gathering and talk only about politics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally choosen this course because this course have no headache. It is easy to pass . And left besides you can do any other course together. The curriculum prepares me for my upcoming competitive exams . All areas are good . No need to improvement. We have total 6 semester, two semester in one year . 6months gap for one exam . Exam difficulty level is very high . You have to study carefully to pass-out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in chemistry so I choose the Hons in this subject. The student and faculty ratio is 1:10 and the faculty are highly educated and pursuing Ph.D. degrees in different universities. They are very experienced and skillful in teaching this subject. There are six semesters and the questions are very hard. Those students have concepts clear in this subject. They easily passed the exam.

My 3 years in Surendranath college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Physics is my favorite subject so I chose this. Professors are highly qualified and 60% of them have doctorate degrees. The teacher-student ratio is approx 1: 4. Term exams are quite tough and it's quite difficult to pass.
