I am graduated in Political science from this college in 2014. it is one of the oldest college in Kolkata named after the first president of Indian National congress.The reason for choosing this college is the low admission fees, being the government owned college. It provides high quality educations for more than thousand of out-stationed students from the areas nearby and most of the students take the Rail Route.

I didn't take any entrance examination. I just applied for the college by filling out the form, and was selected in their screening. I scored 78% in my Higher Secondary. I opted for this college because they have a very good faculty, lenient rules and furthermore, it was close to where I live in Kolkata.
