• For Seeking Admissions in D.Pharm course, students have to pass in 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics.
• Candidates have to complete PUC or any other equivalent course with 50% of marks from a recognized board (45% for SC/ST candidates) is eligible for D.El.Ed course.
• For undergraduate courses, candidates who have passed PUC/ 10+2/ 12th Standard/ PDC or equivalents are eligible for admissions.
• For post-graduate courses, they have to complete Bachelor’s degree in respective specializations with 50% of marks in other subjects and 40% in cognate subject from a recognized university.

Bangalore City College (BCC) Admissions Highlights 2023:

BCC offers 3 years full-time Undergraduate B.Sc., B.A., B.C.A, B.Com, B.B.M., B.Ed., courses in various specializations. For B.Sc. Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Bio genetics/ Microbiology course Eligibility, Candidates have to pass PUC/ 10+2/ 12th Standard/ PDC or equivalents with Biology as one of the core subjects from a recognized board.

Candidates pass with Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 Examination or equivalents in any discipline from a recognized board are eligible for BBM Course. For B.Com course entry requirements, students have to pass in Pre-Degree / PDC/ 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline.

Applicants with a pass in Pre-University / Higher Secondary/ 10+2 examination or equivalent of recognized board or council is eligible for BCA course. For BA History/ Political Science/ Sociology/ Journalism/ Psychology/ Economics entry requirements, they have to complete Pre-University / Higher Secondary/ 10+2 examination or equivalent of recognized board or council.

Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree with 50% of marks from a recognized university (45% of marks for SC/ST and PH students) are eligible for B.Ed. course. For seeking admissions in all undergraduate programs is based on the merit list prepared by Bangalore University and Management.

Key points for Undergraduate Admission:

• Candidates with Diploma in Textile Technology and Diploma in Costumes and Fashion Design are directly admitted to 3rd semester of B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design.
• Those with Diploma in Handloom Technology and Diploma in Handloom and Textiles, are also eligible for admission directly to 3rd semester of B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design.

BCC offers 2 years full-time Postgraduate M.Sc. in 10 specializations, M.A, MSW, M.Com, M.Ed., courses. For M.Sc. Biotechnology course entry requirements, candidates have to pass B.Sc. with 50% of marks in all the three optional individually, Chemistry or Biochemistry is compulsory.

Those who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with 40% in aggregate of all subjects and 50% marks in the cognate subject in the qualifying examinations are eligible for MA English course. For MSW course entry requirements, candidates have to pass Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree with 50% of marks from a recognized university.

Applicants with B.Com or B.B.M degree examinations, securing not less than 50% marks in the Commerce Subjects of Business Education from a recognized university are eligible for M.Com course. For M.Ed. course eligibility, they have to complete Bachelor’s degree in Education with 50% of marks from a recognized university (45% of marks for SC/ST and PH students).

For seeking admissions in all postgraduate courses, students have to obtain merit-list prepared by the Bangalore University and Management.

• Candidates with B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com, degree with 55% of marks in the language concerned are also eligible for MA English course.
• Those with B.Sc. PCM or PG diploma in computer science are also eligible for M.Sc. Computer Science course.

BCC offers full-time Diploma in Pharmacy and Diploma in Elementary Education courses. Candidates who have completed 10+2 in one of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics from a recognized board are eligible for Diploma in Pharmacy Course.

For D.El.Ed Course eligibility, students have to complete PUC or any other equivalent course with 50% of marks from a recognized board (45% for SC/ST candidates).
