life at St. Xaviers College

Hostel Facilities:

hostel 3 sharing with 6400 per month mess food has a lot of variety with special food on sundays. and food quality is good too. hygiene is maintained. soon after the admission in college , u have to apply for hostel by reaching at the hostel office or calling on the number provided. lot of nearby PGs are available within suitable range

Internship for Students

There is a Boys hostel for Xaviers College students in the College Campus and for girls there is outside campus. In Boys hostel, they provide 1 room per 3 students and give 1 bed, study table and cupboard per person. Also, there are 2 fans and tube lights in 1 room. Also, they provide food 2 times a day. Meal quality is good but you have to manage some times. The registration process is on campus and you have to first apply and the rule is it is only for outsiders or not for local Ahmedabadians. It is affordable as a lower price as compared to PG and other hostels. College comes in University Area, Navarangpura. You can also get PG in this area

st.xavier's ahmedabad review

Room facilities was average but it was very cost effective in that it charge only 5k for 6 months and 1800 per month for food. we had 3 beds with 3 fans in our room and seperate almirah/ cupboard and table chair for each student to study. meal was average but cost effective. there was no any restriction on number of time you can take the meal and meal variety varies with the day from sunday to saturaday. hostel is very much affordable and reasonable and registration process happens at the time of college admission online.

College life of Xavierite

There are basic facilities provided in the hostel. 4 students are living in a single room. There is a mess just behind the hostel for the ease of students. The food in the mess is not so good but it is fine. Menu of the match repeats after a week. The hostel is affordable for every type of students since the fee structure of the hostel is very less.

My college experience

Be quickest for admission otherwise, you won't get. For admission you have to meet Hostel rector he will check your percentage and then he will confirm your admission and it has no merit list system. If you want to study and don't need any disturbance then Its best place for you. Rooms are neat and clean. Washrooms are always clean and even I did not face the scarcity of water when I was in the hostel. Mess fess costs 1800 per month. Food is average it's not too good it's not too bad. If you need delicious or nutritional food then you have to compromise. St. Xavier's hostel is affordable to live in.

Good building. Every facilities available in hostel which should be in the hostel. Boys and girls both hotels are there For boys hostel is in the campus while for girls hostel is near to 1.5km away from college. No bus service for girls or boys.

Our college does have a boys hostel. The fees there is around 11k per year. But I wouldn't recommend it as the hostel is quite average and the food is below average. You can get better rates at pgs nearby

Hostel for ladies is quite good for the fee you pay. The fee is around 16000 for 6 months and you get a 3-4 sharing room with common bathroom which is common for the floor. Food is quite okay in the mess.
