I paid 22,250rs for my first semester. So the annual fees would be around 44,500rs, which is pretty affordable if you compare it with that of the Sonipat colleges. St. Stephen's gives you the same quality education and much greater exposure for a fraction of the fees paid. The fees go significantly lower for PwD students, which makes the college inclusive and accessible. The detailed fee division will be given in the fee receipt. Also SC/ST students can avail scholarships provided by the government.

Apart goem this i have been alloted histek whose fees is around 1.5 lakh oer depending upon various factors. As per DU fee draft for 2024-25, the tutition fee for Sem I for general category is just 90rs. The rest of the fee includes University and College Student Welfare Funds, University and College Development Fund, University and College Facilitation Charges, EWS Support Fund and Student's Union Society Funds. They charge some amount for Chapel Subscription as well, every year. So on an average, the fee for each semester for a day scholar graduate student would be around 23000-24000. There might be additional fees charged on exam registration, and for other payments done for individual purchases by the student such as College ID Recharge, Merch, Calendars etc. The total fees therefore, is slightly higher than those in other DU Colleges.Scence students will be charged extra as Lab Fees. PWD Students are only charged forCollege Facilitation. There are significant reduction in fee structure of Staff Ward Students. Fees of EWS, OBC and Kashmiri Migrants Students are same as of General. Hostel students will incur extra charges- which Im not well aware of due to being a day scholar. The college provides freeships and scholarships for the financially weak. Apart from that, there are scholarships for meritorious students like Sumitomo, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Vikas Dhaka, Tiara etc.

Fees and Financial Aid:

During my tenure as a student of St. Stephens College, the semester fees were structured as follows: Around Rs. 42,000 for the first year including tuition fee, garden maintenance fee, registration fee and other compulsory charges. The Second and Third year each semester cost a minimum of around Rs 18,000 which was variable depending on whether we had purchased anything extra like college merchandise or yearbook calender the cost of which gets added in the semester fee. SC/ST/OBC students had the same fee structure as general category students. Those enrolled in science courses had to pay slightly higher than usual fees cause of expenses like Laboratory maintenance. Stephens offered various scholarship throughout the calender year as mentioned on its official website under the Scholarship Notifications page. Ex: Pandit Hazari Lal Prize and Neerja Malhotra Memorial Scholarship.

The fees are minimal as compared to private colleges. It ranges from 20000 to 22000. There are a lot of internships opportunities and there is also a proper society called the campus placement cell which helps in providing internships. Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an avid interest in history since my school days and it was precisely because of this that I decided to pursue an undergraduate in history. The faculty for history is extremely good and qualified, with a zest for the subject. A majority of the faculty has done their higher studies from eminent foreign universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. The strength of one batch is 60 students and the gender ratio is often equal. Teaching methods involve a combination of lectures, paper presentations and timely tutorials to assess an entire week of learning.
