Overall im loving this college

Likes

Industry-aligned curriculum, Good placement opportunities
Highly qualified faculty, higher girl-to-boy ratio (1:2 or 1:3)
Strong placements, Affordable fees (for chemical it is 25000 only for a year)

Dislikes

Hostel food quality could improve, not that good
Slow administrative processes, Traditional teaching methods
Limited industrial exposure, Some labs need modernization

Our college offers decent internship opportunities, mainly in the chemical, food, and energy industries. Companies like Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, and Indian Oil offer roles in process engineering, R&D, and production management, with some internships having stipends.

Likes

Faculty is very experienced with the domain.
Very good ROI Given the fee and the placement offers.
The Location of the Campus itself is a huge plus point.

Dislikes

Minimal involvement with clubs. Hope there may be improvement within.

Internships Opportunities:

TBH during covid very few companies came up for the internship still some of them like IOCL and NFL offered for the internship. IOCL being in Online mode and NFL being in on site internship. Otherwise big companies do come internship drive as well.

Nothing there to be disliked. Everything is perfect.
Swimming pool, garden, parking, library all good

Dislikes

Nothing to be disliked. All facilities available

Internships Opportunities:

Iocl barauni, it was 2 months internship programme. Worked in atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit. Really amazing experience during training since we got the opportunity to learn something new and good.

Internships Opportunities:

Very few companies come for an internship like Honeywell come and hire about 8-10 students for an internship and the stipend is 30k.otherwise u have to do an internship on its own, it is not hard, and all students did an internship.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is provided to students after the 5th or 6th semester. Companies also provide pre-placement offers to students. It's become mandatory for every student to complete an internship after the 6th sem as it provides grade marks.

A affordable Chemical engineering College in Beautiful City Chandigarh.

Placement Experience:

Placement of chemical engineering in our college is very good. 70-80% of students got placed before covid. Many big companies such as reliance, exonn, Infosys, srf, etc visits. The highest package is more than 18LPA this year.

Dr. SSBUICET is one of the best chemical engineering colleges in North India

Internships Opportunities:

There are many companies that come for internships in our college and major companies are Reliance, Exxon Mobil, NFL, and some more. These are one of the best companies in their lead role like fertilizers, refineries, equipment design, etc. But none of these provide any stipend and are non-paid internships. These companies give the best knowledge about practical applications of the core subjects we study in our course like fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, etc.

For internship - Jubilant pharma visits the campus apart from this students can apply to other companies for internships like sun pharma, iocl, etc. One can get a process designer job or some other field job.
