University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (UICET) was established in the year 1958 in collaboration with IIT Chicago. It is located in Chandigarh, Punjab.
UICET offers UG courses in 2 Branches of Engineering, 5 courses at PG level and a course at the research level. The institute also offers a five-year integrated B.Tech + MBA program in Engineering.

UICET B.E and Integrated Courses Admission 2023
University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology invites applications for B.E course in 2 specializations and one Integrated Course. Applications can be filled online before June 20.
Candidate should have scored 60% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects at 10+2 level. Candidates who take their best 4 subjects to calculate the percentage (60%) are not eligible.
Admissions are made on the basis of JEE Main. For Foreign National candidates, they have to qualify any national level examination equivalent to JEE Main.

University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology PG Admissions 2023
UICET offers M.E in 2 specializations, M.Tech and M.Sc postgraduate courses. Candidates who have scored 60% marks in their Bachelor’s degree are eligible for admission. The applications can be done till June 20, 2021.
The admissions will be done on the basis of PU CET (PG). Final selections will be based on the merit list prepared by the college and an interview.

Important points:
- Candidates who have qualified GATE are exempted from PU CET (PG).
- PU-CET (PG) will be followed by an interview.

UICET Ph.D. Admission 2023
UICET Chandigarh invites applications for the Ph.D course. The minimum requirement is a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Admission to Ph.D. program will be based on entrance test conducted by Panjab university on July 9.

UICET Application Process 2023
The application process is online for the institute. Candidates are required to follow the subsequent steps:
- Visit the official website of the college
- Click on the ‘Online Registration’
- Fill in the details such as Counselling Board, JEE Roll no., and click on ‘Submit’
- A Log in Id and Password will be generated
- Fill the required details and proceed to make fee payment
- Fee can be paid in two modes- online and through E-challan.
Documents required at the time of counseling:
- Class 10th mark sheet
- Class 12th mark sheet
- JEE result card.
- Character Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Supporting document for the candidates applying under Reserved Category
For Ph.D., candidates need to register themselves for the entrance test conducted by Panjab University on its official website. After registering, they need deposit fees using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip. Login and upload scanned photograph, signature, and fill other important information.

Generally admission process is similar to most of the colleges. It takes admission through JEE MAINS score. Last year the cutoff for chemical engineering was 120000
And for chemical engineering-MBA it was around 350000

Ofcourse you need to score 75 percent in your boards and you get seats as per your JEE mains rank. Getting a hostel is a daunting task since seats are more and you get hostel on the basis of merit. If not then you have PGs near by

The admission process was very normal. Simply open the website of Panjab University-related counselling and start filling counselling form. Eligibility and procedures are provided on the website itself. 4 seats are reserved for obc and 2 each for sc and St. No improvement is required.

Admission is done on the basis of jee main marks by jossa counseling. You have to apply on jossa portal and process ahead, previous year's cut-off for general category students is about 1 lakh rank. There is no state reservation available here.

One should have PCM as their subjects with a maximum of 70% in 10+2 (for general) and 60% for (SC etc.). As I'm a resident of Jammu and Kashmir so I had to give the domicile certificate of J&K . The documents needed for admission are mark sheet of 10th and 10+2, migration certificate, Birth certificate (if have).

To get admission in B.E Chemical at SS BHATNAGAR UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY you should score at least 65% marks in 12th grade and then you have to appear for JEE Mains exams. The cutoff rank varies year by year but the average can be taken as 80k. To get admission you have to go through JAC Chandigarh counseling. If you get the college according to your rand then after the process is easy you just have to submit the documents to the college and you are admitted.
