Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies is one of the premier institutes of the state, established in 2002 by Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan. It is situated in Akurdi, Pune, Maharashtra.The institution is recognized by All India Council of Technical education (AICTE) and approved by the Govt. of Maharashtra (DTE) and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU). Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies provides a regular full-time MBA program.
- For MBA course candidates have to apply through DTE, Maharashtra website.
- Candidates applying for institute level seats have to fill the enquiry form available at the college website.
- Candidates applying for MBA should have done graduation in any discipline and have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies MBA Admission 2025
The institute provides a regular full-time MBA program with seat intake of 60. The minimum qualification required is to secure at least 50% marks in at graduation level in any discipline (45% in case reserved category belonging to Maharashtra State only).
The admission to MBA program takes place through MAH-MBA-CET (Maharashtra candidates only) or CMAT. Final allotment of seats will be through counselling by DTE, Maharashtra.

Key Points:
- MAH – MBA is of 150 minutes entrance exam and is of 200 marks.
- The question paper consists of 75 questions of Logical reasoning, 50 questions each from Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability and 25 questions will be asked from Abstract reasoning.
- There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked by candidate.
Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies Application Process 2025
Admission to MBA is on the basis of DTE, Maharashtra counselling. To sit for the counselling, applicants have to follow below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra.
- Register for the application form and obtain Login ID.
- Fill the online application form for Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
- Pay the application fees of INR 1000 (General Category Candidates and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate) through online mode (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking).
- Application fee is INR 800 for Reserved Category candidates from Maharashtra State and Persons with Disability candidates from Maharashtra.
Documents required for filling of the application form are as follows:
- SSC and HSC mark sheet.
- Bachelor degree mark sheet.
- Mark sheet/Score Card of the entrance test.
- School Leaving Certificate.
- Migration Certificate.
- Gap Certificate.
- Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate.
- Domicile/ Birth/ leaving certificate (for candidates seeking Home state Quota).
- Caste certificate (if Applicable)
Note: Online application will be accepted only after the applicant submits a hard copy of the form with relevant documents at the facilitation centers (FCs).

Actually, I belong to the Marathwada area and from a Marathi background. I selected this institute in CAP round because of the good reputation of this institute heard from my friend circle. When I came for admission. There was a streamline the process. The professor discussed and asked me each and everything about me as I was from a Marathi background I wasn't that perfect in English still, professor understands and started talking in Marathi that was really felt me comfortable. And she helped me and was with me till my admission process completion. Reasons for referring-
I can confidently say that this institute turned me around. I learned I expressed, I performed, I get skilled in this institute and importantly the students come from Marathi and rural Background they feel uncomfortable as I was but each and everyone in this institute made me comfortable.

Right from meeting Teachers to meeting Placement Officer to meeting Director of College. We were given the whole information about college and also regarding the placements of college.
