A short description of BIT MESRA OFF campus PATNA

Likes

Fests are moderate sports event are good to go
Have good library there we can basically study
Gymnasium is also good average gym to go

Dislikes

Small campus area there is not much area to roam
No night life hostels gate closses at 10:30 so after that you can't roam in the campus
Mixed ground for everything there should be seperate ground for cricket football volleyball and badminton

Placement Experience:

Placement are not that bad or good it totally depends upon the students of that batch so we can't classify it earlier the placement were pretty decent but due to Covid the placement scenario has been distributed but then also it's recovering sonhope in the future the placement would again be descent..

Experiences and Feedback of BIT Patna

Likes

The crowd here is good, peoples are here from different parts of the country but most of them are from patna and Bihar itself , but overall the crowd is pretty good.
There is exposure for many cultural as well as technical activities. Many events take place in the college which is surely a good point in considering this college as it gives you the opportunity to interact with different people's.
Mess food is up to the mark as compared to other good and reputed colleges

Dislikes

The college campus is too small, there are very few places to hangout. Expected much more with this college.
The professors of chemistry are keen to fail students in the semester exams . The faculty here is not that good.
College rules are so much strict, not allowing food after 7:30 Pm for the first year students , not letting them go out after 8 pm.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester, Companies including Infosys, TCS, Accenture, tata, and many more visited and total of 240 offers were made in the year 2023. There was a 33 lakhs offer from paypal too. Highest was 33 lakhs from paypal and 32 lakhs from Amazon 60-70 percent people gets placed My plans after getting a degree is going into software field

Excellent college

Likes

College Environment, field to play, auditorium for college fest, Canteen and cafeteria facilities, clean campus
Study Environment, professors were vey helpful, different labs specially for ece and eee department, library facilities
hostel life, studing together with friends, awesome food in mess, every month mess party, play badminton in hostel ground

Dislikes

There is various rule and regulation in college which is not required
Various restrictions, hostel get close after 10 pm all this leeads to school life.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is awesome....for cse department 100% student get placed other branch student also get placed bt less as compare to cse and IT dept. Till now there no such company who visited and didmt give any offer Highest package is 44.14 lakh per annum average package is 11.74 lpa

The Lectures are great. The college has a great Faculty. THE Labs are excellent.
A Great environment for Students. Events that happen all the year are very good.
Proper Sport facilities including a Tennis Court, Badminton court, Volleyball court, Cricket and Football ground(combined).

Placement Experience:

You'll be eligible for campus placement from 5th sem. Major companies like Microsoft,Adobe, Amazon and PayPal visits our campus. Major bengluru based IT start-ups too visit us. The highest package for last batch was 44 lpa offered by Amazon.

Hardwork never get waste

Placement Experience:

For 6 or 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are paypal, Infosys etc. Highest package- 40 lakh Average package - 10 lakh Almost 75 % student get placed. My first priority to achieve a good job.

bit patna college review

the things i like is there is a oppourtunity for taking part on co ciriculr activities like sports music dance and drama
the library of the college has too many books all the books you need you found in the college library also there was a e-library
the college has lab for doing practicals all the lab incharges were very good a thry support too much

Dislikes

there were no support from college in going to other colleges like iit nit for performing dance drama and music
the teachers did not give their 100 percent output to students
there were too many restriction about time vehicle as we are college student they behave like school

Placement Experience:

the campus placement is good in matter to better companies like paypal , tech mahindra , tata , tata advance were coming in the college for in campus placements . the average pakage of cse students were 10 to 12 lpa . my plans after getting the degree is doing job .

Likes

Food of the college was to good. Student can decide the food menu.
Hostel life was good. You enjoy in hostel or study.
Teacher was good. You can meet him any time if you have any problem.

Dislikes

College life was not good. The life i accept not that.
The restriction in this college was too much. Like if you want to do anything you took permission
Only one Sport Ground in which you play cricket, football, running all activities in one field

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a software engineer so I Choose CSE. Faculty was good some are not good In First Year but if you want to study your selected course in second year the teacher of my branch was good . IWas new in college so I can't say anything more about teacher of my branch. We know different people have different opinion. Student ratio are 58:12. Teacher are well qualify. The exam was tough if you want to pass so study more espically first year.

Likes

hostel and meal is good and students are also friendly with each other.
teachers are also supportive in many ways.
safety is first priority here so u are safe here for sure.

Dislikes

placements could have been more better .
number of fest could have been increased.
more clubs can be organised for other interests also.

Placement Experience:

placements through campus starts from 4th yr and yes good companies come here for placements so it's quite preferred to even apply outside for off campus placement.. however u neeed to work on ur skills for placment

I like bit campus it is far from city clean and green campus.
I like bit faculty it is very supportive.
I like hostel and mess facilities it is very good

Dislikes

Fee is too much high and no fee weaver for any one
Campus is too small only 28 acer near to airport
75% attendance in compulsory for exam

Bot Patna placement is good approx 87% of students get placed. In CSE 100% of students get placed. In ECE 68% of students get placed. In EEE 72% of students get placed. ongoing placement highest is 45 LPA off campus and 23 LPA on-campus media is 11.5 LPA.

Full Review of BIT Patna.

Likes

Beautiful campus with full of various interesting activities and sports activities.
Good campus placement with soo many companies visit the campus for placement.
Hostel and Mess facility wit such low fees and with such great food and facility.

Dislikes

High course fess which increases every year.
Tough exams and duration of semester is little bit short with respect to another colleges.
Small campus area of just only 25 acres.

Placement Experience:

The college provides on-campus placement opportunities. Students after the 6th semester are eligible for on-campus placement. There are many companies such as Infosys, Microsoft, Genpact, Amdocs, SocGen, Cashfree, Trilogy Innovation, PayPal, etc visiting our campus. The average package is around 11 LPA and the campus's Highest package is 28 LPA and off campus's highest placement is 45 LPA. Every year almost 75% to 80% of students get placed in companies.
