Ques. What is the difference between BA Political Science and BA Political Science Honours?
Ans. BA Political Science is a general degree program with a broad curriculum covering various aspects of political science. BA Political Science Honours is a specialized program available in the second and third year for students who score at least 50% marks in Political Science in their first year. Honours students study the subject in greater depth with advanced coursework and research components. At SCD Government College, students can opt for Honours in their second year if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Ques. Can I change my subject combination after admission?
Ans. Subject changes are generally not allowed after admission. However, students of BA Part 1st can change their subjects within one month of the last date for admission, subject to certain conditions such as no clash in timetable and based on the student's aptitude. Students in second and third year cannot change their subjects under any circumstances. It is important to select subjects carefully at the time of filling the application form.
Ques. What are the career options after completing BA Political Science?
Ans.
