Salesian College is a Government recognized minority educational institution of the Catholic Church, run by Salesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata. It was established in 1938 and is situated in Darjeeling, West Bengal. It is affiliated to the University of North Bengal. Salesian College offers various undergraduate courses in Science, Commerce and Humanities stream. It also offers professional degree courses viz. BBA and BCA. It currently offers one postgraduate degree in English. Recently, the college has been conferred grade ‘A’ by NAAC.

Application fee can be paid through demand draft or any online payment gateway.
The basic eligibility for UG courses is to pass 10+2 with 55? aggregate marks and 60% marks in the respective discipline.
To be eligible for MA English, a candidate requires a minimum 55? aggregate marks in graduation and 60? marks in English.
Final selection to be based on the aptitude test in the desired field and a personal interview as well.
Scholarship is given to SC and ST students as per the guidelines set by the government.
The admission takes place during the month of May-June for UG program.

Well, i did apply around Darjeeling and silguri and got 2 confirmed list one from ghoom jorbunglow college and other from Darjeeling government college but as silguri being my home town i did it here and like my college admission Criteria is .. 60% above in his/her 12th board

1) I had applied in Suryasen Mahavidyalaya College and had my admission was confirmed there also buy I chose Salesian College Sonada, as it is a private institution and is run by Salesians. 2) I didn't join Suryasen Mahavidyalaya College, as my preference was Salesian College Sonada 3) The admission process is simple, you have to apply online in the official website of Salesian College, after that you mab be interviewed over a telephone.

Salesian College, Regain your confidence

Admission:

I pursued my graduation degree from Salesian College, Sonada and did not sit for any entrance exams for my college admission process. After aplying I got a call from the college course's HoD who took a telephonic interview. the cut was 60% approximately and even though I joined in late I was able to join the course. The application form for Salesian College, Sonada for the course of B.A in Mass Communication and Journalism is available on the college's official website as well as the college portal. I did not opt for any reservation benefits however their are some for the students who belong to the Christian community students.

Graduating from Salesian College

Admission:

I was studying for my CS foundation exam from 11th standard. I passed it after 12th, so I reckoned it was better for me to choose a course that wouldn't put too much pressure on me. The admision was merit-based, so the process wasn't time-taking.
