recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs .
There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed.
Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

When i'm there only local companies of the city are came for the placement in our college campus. But if other MNC'S are coming for placements in other colleges of the city then we were informed by the placement cell and teachers.
Only 20-30% students got placed at our time.
My plans after getting a degree is secure a entry level position in an organization. For that i'm also looking for the off campus placements. Right now many companies hiring off campus more than on campus. So, there are more chances to secure your dream job.

From last year, one is eligible for placements. But the placements are not so good and in fact majority of the students don't sit on placements exams as regular course syudents don't go for placements in general.
Approx 10 percent students are only placed.
Highest package was from a vocational course of around 2.6 lakhs.
