The Enrolment List will be released after Nov 17 and shortlisted candidates must enrol in the allotted college till Nov 23, 2024. Ranchi Women's College is a Constituent Autonomous College under Ranchi University. Founded in 1949, Ranchi Women’s college has carved out a niche for itself in the world of higher education for women in Social Sciences/Humanities, Sciences and Commerce. It is located in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.

Ranchi Women's College UG Courses Admission 2024
Ranchi Women's College offers BA in 14 specializations, B.Sc. in 7 specializations, B. Com, BCA, and BBA degree courses at the undergraduate level.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board to be eligible to apply for BA and B. Com programs. For B.Sc. program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects in Class XII with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
For BBA and BCA program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for these programs.
Admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying marks and/or interview conducted by the college. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicant’s marks at 10+2. Applicants will be called for admission process as per the merit list.

- All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
- For BCA course candidates must also have Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Candidates applying for Honors program shall have to pass the Class XII with a minimum of 65% marks.
Ranchi Women's College PG Admission 2024
Ranchi Women's College offers MA in 5 specializations, M.Sc. in 3 specializations, M.Com, and B.Ed. degree courses at the postgraduate level.
Candidates must have graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.
For M.Sc. program, candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc.
For admission to B. Ed, candidates must have must either a BA, or B. Sc., or B. Com from any recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Ranchi Women's College Application Process 2024
Ranchi Women’s College application procedure is carried out in an offline mode. Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form from the college itself. They have to submit the duly filled-in application forms to the college campus/office along with the processing fee and the required documents.
Once the form is submitted, candidates will have to wait for the announcement of the merit list cum notice to find out whether they have been shortlisted or not for the admission process. The merit list will be available on the official website of the college.
The intimation about the date, time and venue of the admission process will be done through the merit list only.
Here are the steps to apply:
- Candidates can get the application form from the Admission office of Ranchi Women’s College Campus.
- They have to fill in the application Form and submit it along with the required processing fee using cash or Demand Draft.
- DD should be made in favour of “Ranchi Women’s College” and payable at Ranchi.
- Candidates can also collect the application pack from various bookstores by paying the application fee.
- They can also send a request letter along with Demand Draft to get the application form by post.
- Completed applications should be submitted at the Institute offices along with the fee and necessary enclosures within the stipulated time. They have to be present in-person during the document verification.

- Environmental is very cool. Classrooms are very big .
- Teachers are very support. If we have any doubt regarding the subjects. They always try to clear it.
Dislikes
- Toilet is very dirty and smelly. It should be clean.
- Windows of classroom are broken. Windows should be repair.
Admission:
College i chose because of environment. Environment is very cool. Teachers are very supportive. There is no issue of attendance. You can freely go to professor to clear your doubt after the classs end. The college i didn't chose is because the too much hetic schedule.

i choose this college because at 1st this is goverment college and write now i am always trying for some comparative examination while enrolling this college you can do other extra classes also and environments is good

- Location is very convenient. Anyone can easily get there anytime using public transport.
- Teachers and staff members are cooperative and help you regarding any issues.
Dislikes
- Sanitation is sometimes poor. Needs to be improved.
- Bus facility should be provided for students who live in farther areas
Admission:
The main reason for choosing this college was its prime location and excellent faculty. I got selected for other college also but I choosed it over any other First one have to apply for the college online which costs approx 500 Rs. Then college provides list for selected students. If one gets selected then she has to submit the required documents and fulfill the procedure.

- The teachers were very supportive towards the student
- The teachers helped the students to interact with the class more often
Dislikes
- Some teachers were more attentive towards a group of individual student in terms of any information provided

As for the admission process , the college had provided the application form after the declaration of the results upto 1 month. The college's website provides about the each and every detail about the courses taught here , fees structure , information about the faculty members their qualification , etc. Examination were held after 3-4 months in the semester and the mid-sem or units were held after 1 month in the semester.

- College also provides you liberary and computer lab, every department as it's own liberary and computer lab, were you can issue books easily.
Dislikes
- The classes are irregular, teachers don't inform you at the right time, so it waste students time and money in traveling.

Admission:
Eligibility of the course : 45% marks in 12th from any board. The application get released in chancellor portal of Ranchi University. The application fee is Rs.500. Application dates are around June and July. Reservations benefits are available for ST, SC OBC category as their cut off goes upto 35-40% only. The frequency and timing of the exams are good, students get enough time to prepare for exams. The examination is not that tough questions come from your syllabus which you'll be provided by the faculty. Admission process is easy, students can easily take admission without any issues if done every process like filling up application form, document verification and fee submission on time. Even if you are unable to do admission process on time you get extended time, you can complete that time.

- The classrooms are very dirty it should be cleaned

First of all we have to go to chancellor portal website and we have to choose the university first and then colleges under it then fill up the form after filling it we have to sumbit it by paying rs500 for the form

- The quality of infrastructure including amenities and learning facilities are very good. Libraries are provided with each and every book needed.
- The effectiveness of the placement services is nice. Many companies visit here for campus placement like wipro, tcs etc
Dislikes
- The very one thing i like dislike about this college is hall giveb to us are not at all mentained.
- We have to give money for booking our own hall. The amount 1500 is taken.
Admission:
Eligibility of the course is 12th pass in biology field with 55% of marks. Application form is provided in college. Application fees is 500 with 350 migration charge. Reservation benefits are availabled. ST and SC have genuinely low fees and Bpl student's too. The frequency of timing is quiet good. Exam have easy questions. Everything is good in admission process

- Not proper timing of class that is problematic
- Lack of proper playground and sporting atmosphere
Admission:
Egibility of the course on the basis of intermediate marksheet.I like this method but in some areas it is not as fare as because just one marksheet may not decide the future of any students.So I prefer entrance exam.
Likes
- The library provides a lot of books and materials.
- Teachers are interactive and take regular classes.
Dislikes
- The systems and softwares are outdated so they need to be updated
- The college website is not so user friendly and we can't fetch previous semester details from it.
Admission:
There is no entrance exam taken by this college. I got admission through my class 12 result. The exams taken by the college is very regular in the span of 6 months. For improvement in the admission process, the college should take entrance exams.

- I like the relationship between students and teachers we share, it's a pure bond like a child and parents, they make us so much comfortable that we can even discuss our pains and sorrow as today's world most people are depressed, ni one to share with
- I like the environment of the campus it provides raining free environment.
Dislikes
- The syllabus has been made more vast, 2 subjects are merged into one and is taught as one subject separated in groups like group 1 is different subject and group 2 is different. And given as it's one subject
- I'm not liking colleges rule and regulations from the time college came under Ranchi University things were better autonomous.

I opt MCA, eligibility criteria was mathematics was compulsory in 12th std., have done BCA from the recognised university, or even physics and mathematics student can apply for MCA., the form was available on our colleges website worth ?400 fir st, and sc and ?500 for OBC, there's no reservation benefit, exams are conducted on time and the exam paper are set very good every chapter is covered.
