Ranchi Womens College offers MA in 5 specializations, M.Sc. in 3 specializations, M.Com, and B.Ed. degree courses at the postgraduate level.

Candidates must have a graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subjects obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.

Ranchi Womens College Admission Application Process 2026

Ranchi Womens College has an offline application process. Students are able to pick up the application form in person at the college. They need to fill out the form and bring it to the college office in exchange for the required processing fee along with all the necessary documents.After submitting the form, applicants have to wait until the merit list and notice are published to know if they have been shortlisted for admission. The merit list is posted on the official website of the college.

Students can collect the application form from the Admission Office in Ranchi Women’s College Campus.
They must submit the form together with the processing fee, which can be paid either in cash or through a Demand Draft (DD).
The Demand Draft should be addressed to “Ranchi Women’s College” and is to be paid at Ranchi.

Whereabouts of Ranchi Women's College

Admission:

This is one of the renowned government colleges in Ranchi and students from different districts come to take admission here. The faculty teacher ratio is also very good and the faculty quality too is great. Thus I was inclined towards taking admission here.

The first day i entered in the college for the admission, i was so confused but teachers and professor were so friendly that everything went so smooth.

For admission in Ranchi women's college one need not to appear for any examination. There is a cut-off ranging _70% and above; students qualifying this criterion are eligible for admission. The admission process is very simple. You have to apply through chancellor portal fill out the appliform pay 500 as an application fee, and your application will move to the college. Within a month cut-out list will be uploaded on the college website, where one can check and visit the college with the mentioned documents for further processing.

Admission:

I applied for other colleges also like st. Xaviers college but they didnot provide msc in zoology i think nowadays these courses may be added . So womens college is best and one of the options in a few options.

It is nice from my view.

Dislikes

Most disliked thing is that college don't have the online admission or re-admission facitility. It is happens in offline mode only. You have to stand on a queqe to submit the admission or re-admission fee.

Admission:

I had done bachlor's degree in information technology. Then i applied for mca in Government Autonomous College, Rourkela. I went there for the entrace examination. At that time i saw the college and campus and i doesn't like much. And after that i confirmed my admission on Ranchi Women's College. The reason is that the fee structure of course is good and also the college provide the schlorship facility. No i didn't get rejected by other colleges. I didn't like the campus and place. The all admission process is happend in offline mode. The eligibility criteria for the course is you must have v bachelor's degree in information technology and must have a mathematics subject in your 12th. Here the admission happens on the first come first serve basis, there is no entrance examination for taking admission. But the seats are limited i.e 50 students only. My admission experience was not that much of good, you have to go 2, 3 places to complete the admission process. Also the admission is happend in offline mode only.
