Hostel is provided only for girls and there are 2 hostels, both offers good mess and all other facilities.

Prajyoti is a small college. There are 5 departments each with class strength of average 45. A plus point of this is that everyone gets to know each other one way or another. The major festivals here are onam celebration, talent's day, college day and fine arts day. Talents day is specifically for the freshers. Additionally each department can conduct their own respective fests (eg: tech fest by Department of Computer science). The infrastructure and technologies are good enough but can be improved. The library facility is good. It is accessible from 9 to 4.30. The sports activities here are cycling, yoga and football. There are various clubs coordinated by students themselves as well

I am not very active in extracurricular activities but I have enjoyed them all. Apart from that, there were all the college clubs and students portals and I was active in the clubs. Anyway, I got a good experience from this college.

In the college library, journals, question papers,and study materials are easily accessible .In sports and arts , students are tough competition.Onam , Christmas, Union day,Annual day are grandly celebrated.

Life at college is Good. Students have many programs and opportunities to connect with other students. Arts Fest is conducted in December-January. Sports are conducted in January. There is the easy availability of various books and journals in the library. There are Music Clubs, Dance Clubs and Film Clubs with various other study-oriented clubs.

Yes, you can only stay outside the college there are many homes which avail homestay facilities near the college so that you can save transportation expenses that can decreases the monthly expenses. The rent ranges form 5000 to 6000.

There is only girls hostel in the college.the infrastructure and facilities are not much good.the food serving here would be cheap.not justifiable for the fees they pay.for boys there is no hostel.they should be search another hostel near to the college.
