The best Actuary and students life

The campus was very neat and well maintained. All the teachers and staffs were very helpful and they are well knowledged and trained. Though it was a girls college, it is very safe for girls and can enjoy in campus. One the best college incoimbatore.
The placement services provided in the college was good and experienceful. They provide better placements for students companies like accenture, wipro, access healthcare and so on. The professors were are also helpful during placments. Good college..
Apart from the curriculum we can also learn many things like dance, sports, yoga and so on. There are various students clubs which promote students well being.

Dislikes

The price of foods available in college cafeteria was little high as compare to outside foods.
Students only have to take steps to participate in any programms. Staffs do not say anything to students.
The college do not provide bus facilities to.the students. They only provide bus services for hostellers.

Internships Opportunities:

The college offers internship to students which is very helpful for them. The companies that provide internship for Actuary students are United India Insurance Company, The Oriental Insurance company and so on.

Alert Girls !PSGR KRISHNAMMAL college

Likes

This is a girls college,where you get freedom to wear anything you need.
NCC standard is Awesome 👍🏻,It has both army and Airwing
Staffs of physics department are friendly,easy to approach

Dislikes

Though few departments have no freedom to drescode
Timings are too early for aided,and the crowd is large
Aided girls are sometimes not allowed for few functions

The staff….very approachable and you can go visit them for any grievance, be it personal or academically .This is one factor that I chose to study in the college.
There’s no dress code which gives us to wear whatever we want
Even the office personnel are very good . Any document will be provide with a day on request.

Dislikes

Campus is small and canteen doesn’t have a lot of options.

There are very less internship opportunities in my departments don't know about other departments . Some have to do compulsory internship which will mostly provided by the college itself. If you bag any prestigious internships ...the departement will help you with attendance and other matters. Nothing to be worried of.

The first and foremost thing which I liked in our college is the clean and neat campus. One of the most important thing a person would feel good about an institution is its atmosphere. PSGR Krishnam mal College would never make us feel uncomfortable.
The student teacher relationship would be great.
The next main thing is food. The mess would be cleanly maintained

Dislikes

The thing which I dislike is the cultural aspectives
The college doesn't have enough recreation factor in it.
At times they would conduct assembly in the ground at 12 noon, which would make many to faint.

Placement Experience:

They conduct placement programs every year. We even had Personality Development Program at every Saturdays. In these programs they would teach us how to crack the interviews and gives us an experience where one would face the interviews with courage

THE STAFFS ARE VERY APPROACHABLE AND FRIENDLY TO CLEAR ALL OUR DOUBTS AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL TOO
IT HAS A CLEAN CAMPUS WHICH IS PLASTIC FREE AND THE ESSENTIAL AREAS LIKE CANTEEN, CAFETERIA AND RESTROOMS ARE WELL MAINTAINED

THE COLLEGE BESIDES HAS STRICT RULES IN ATTENDANCE
IT HAS RIGOUROUS ACADEMIC SCHEDULE THAT KEEPS THE STUDENTS UNDER PRESURE
THE COLLEGE DOESN'T GIVE MUCH IMPORTANCE TO CULTURAL ACTIVITIES.

Internships Opportunities:

USUALLY INTERNSHIPS ARE COMPULSORY FOR UG STUDENTS. PG FINAL YEAR STUDENTS SHOULD MANDATORILY DO PROJECTS IN THE FINAL SEMESTER. THE STUDENTS ARE ASSIGNED GUIDES FOR MENTORSHIP. THEY ARE ASSESED AT TWO LEVELS.

It's good and great for your life

My college have no dress code .can wear anything.
The staffs are very supportive and encouraging
And it have a great infrastructure and good facilities

Dislikes

The college is very strict and too many restrictions.
The hostel is very strict and doesn't allow students anywhere.
The food is really bad in hostel and not properly cooked sometimes.

The intership for post graduate students is low but for under graduate students intership is very important that is included in the internal marks .and we do projects invidually or in group with the help of PhD scholars and staffs as our guide they guide us throughout the project.

Life of girl after Krishnammal

Our college timing is 8:10-12:40 it's an morning batch only half a day
Well educated and supportive lectures , they will help you in any cause and they support to develope in personal life
Very good infrastructure and it's a very clean environment and college is covered with green

Dislikes

There will be more personality development class every weekend to improve you soft and hard skills its basically for placements
There will be less importance to fun events and only limited events conducted and it will be very good ,where we can enjoy a lot

Internships Opportunities:

Our department in our college sign the MOU in the archaeological library and we used to seek help from them during the internships and on our project they will be having the most unique form of idealogy and the used to share their experience with us during their field visit

Hospitality of the teachers and the campus
The environment and the cleanliness inside the campus

The college bus facilities are only available for hostel students
The food inside the campus is too pricey
Sometimes the teachers will not understand our situations and blame us for everything

Internships Opportunities:

We were asked to do a internship in the college I searched for an internship on my own and have completed it by staying in Chennai I had a very good experience in the internship I was offered a role as a Montessori teacher and a supporting admin staff in the same organisation I was given a stipend of rupees 10000 for duration of 2 months. We have also done various projects and the outcome of the projects were very much fascinating

Life at PSGR Krishnammal

Our college was a women’s college and we were given the freedom of not having any strict dress code for women.
We had elections every year to choose our own President,Vice President and more. Apart from our studies we were also given the opportunity to take part in real life campaigns and experience elections in college.
Very flexible timings for the college. Since I opted SF my day started at 12.45 pm and ends at 5.15 pm. We had 5-6 classes every day. The timings made it comfortable for the students to live far away to come to colleges easy.

Dislikes

We did not have much celebrations compared to other colleges around our tier. We did not get opportunity to explore more on extra curricular
The college had it’s own library but we did not have many library periods to spend reading books.
They had clubs but again it was not very active and not everyone were given opportunity to take part in it. Only few clubs like NCC and NSS were active clubs

Internships Opportunities:

1. Students get the opportunity to do projects at their prefered internship companies. The stipend would range from 8000 to 10000 per month. 2. Companies such as AppviewX, Payoda, Kanini, Hexaware and few more give internship opportunities but we can't expect internships like engineering colleges. 3. Projects can be chosen as per the students wish and they have to get it verified by their guide for the allocated students. Some students do their projects together and some opt to do it alone.

Clean and peaceful environment for studing
Faculties are very friendly and helpful in the way of teaching

From 5th semester pre placement training are available here Many MNC company offers employment Highest is 7LPA and average is 3 LPA Percentage of students getting placed are different from year to year It's based on the company that offers employment
