IT HAS A CLEAN CAMPUS WHICH IS PLASTIC FREE AND THE ESSENTIAL AREAS LIKE CANTEEN, CAFETERIA AND RESTROOMS ARE WELL MAINTAINED

Hostel Facilities:

THE STUDENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH 4 SHARING AND 6 SHARING ROOMS OF THEIR CHOICE AND THE FEE VARIES ACCORDINGLY. WE ARE GIVEN WASHING MACHINE FACILITY WEREIN THE STUDENTS HAS TO JUST KEEP THEIR CLOTHES FILLED IN A BUCKET AND THE CONCERNED APPOINTED STAFF WOULD DO IT ON ALTERNATIVE DAYS. THE QUALITY OF THE MEALS IS VERY GOOD AND WE ARE GIVEN A VARIETY OF FOODS AS PER THE SCEDULE EVERYDAY. SINCE WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO GO OUTSIDE THE HOSTEL EXCEPT FOR SUNDAYS I OPTED A PG IN THJE 2ND YEAR. THERE ARE MANY HOSTELS IN AND AROUND PEELAMEDU

It's good and great for your life

Dislikes

The food is really bad in hostel and not properly cooked sometimes.
The hostel is very strict and doesn't allow students anywhere.

Honest Review for PSGR Krishnammal College for Women

The hostel facility of the college is very bad. The hostel fee structure is ?32,000 per year. The mess fees is ?6000 per month.The quality of the food is not good. They provide the same sambar for every meal. There will be no non-veg. The hostel room for PG is alloted for the 15 members who come for hostel admission.Instead of choosing the college hostel you can stay in a private hostel. They are so many private hostels near the college which is also much cheaper.

Good collage for Carrier placement

My room consists of 6 members and which is not a very big room but later we changed to good one which has attached bathroom with all facilities like cupboard plug points shelf cot fully furnished hostel but the main hostel will not have that many facilities later it may change meals are good enough not too bad weekly 2 times nonveg Wednesday and Sunday and remaining all days it is veg and it will be good. I am located near hopes my hostel is located there ..there are more than 10 hostels under college control

My dear college

There is no ragging in and out of the hostel. Ragging is strictly prohibited in psgrkcw instead seniors are very friendly who are our next mentors beside our tutors. Hostel rooms are very spacious and cleaned regularly. Food are awesome which is like our own home. Medical facilities are available for 24*7.MJonthly the rent of the room is 3000.

The best women institution in Tamil nadu.

I'm a hosteller basically. And the college totally holds 10 hostels including the main hostel. The food menu consists of a variety of food ranging from south Indian to Chinese. The food is served very delicious and hot always. Cab facilities are provided for the students.

Campus Life:

There are only limited festivals conducted in campus like karishma, evanza and so on. There 2 different libraries in college which provide different types of novels, journals and so on. The classroom will be neat and is very spacious with smartboard. There are various students club like well being club, consumer club, NSS club and so on which provides benefits for students.

In this college I have learnt many things. There will be a cultural named Karishma for every year. For the college hostel students they will have hostel day for every year. The classroom for the students is provided with black board and projector. Also they have extracurricular activities like throw ball, volleyball, basket ball etc.. Yes there are many students with social group, There are many clubs like NCC, NSS, YUVA,ROTRACT, ECO WATCH etc..
