Admission to the college is based on the submission of an attested 12th-grade mark sheet, focusing on English marks, followed by a basic interview to assess language skills. The government-aided course features a highly qualified faculty, particularly in the English Department, ensuring a strong faculty-student relationship. The course includes two internal exams of 50 marks each and a 100-mark model exam, facilitating effective study and revision. Course fees are minimal due to government support, with additional exam and optional course fees.

Placement opportunities are primarily available in local schools and colleges, with roles such as content writers and teachers offered to English Literature students. Postgraduate students are eligible for placements from the third semester.
