Key Points:
- If the candidates have not studied the subject of choice in the qualifying examination, the marks of English will be added with the marks of three best subjects.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories applying for Honours must have scored an aggregate of 40% marks in 10+2 with 50% marks in the subject of choice OR, an aggregate of 45% marks.
- OBC category candidates must have an aggregate of 50% marks OR 45% marks in aggregate with 55% in the related subject.
- Marks of Environmental Science are not considered for the calculation of merit.
- Candidates with a gap of more than 3 years are not eligible to apply.
- Candidate can apply for a maximum of 3 Honours subjects and a General course in one application form.

The candidates from Boards other than WBCHSE must register with the University on a provisional basis and submit the Migration Certificate for successful registration.
