UBDT College of Engineering B.E. Eligibility & Selection Criteria

UBDT College of Engineering provides a 4-year B.E. program in full-time mode across 7 different specializations. The eligibility and selection criteria for admissions are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 Level Examination with at least 45% Marks from a recognized board for general category students.
• Physics & Mathematics subjects are compulsory subjects with an optional subject of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology.
• A relaxation of 5% is provided to the students of SC/ST background.
• For admission selection, students are required to pass the KCET examination with the required rank.
• For final seat allotment, KCET Counseling is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) through an online mode. Applicants have to complete the filling and locking of the chosen college after registration. Mock allotments are conducted to change the college choice preference. After the seat allotment results of KCET, candidates are provided with three options of freeze, float, and side.
• Selection is based on Merit and Reservation by the policies and guidelines of the government. Selection through Diploma quota and G.O.I quota is made by the DTE, Bangalore.
