There is placement of my college the average package is 6-7 lpa , from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements ,there is multiple campony visit like KLM , varthman , google , netflix , microsoft , maanga , globiva , adobe and all . the highest package was soniya and that was 16lpa , the percentage of student getting placement is 80 % .

T&P cell is very active in my college. Most of the students are placed in well-known companies like TCS, Accenture, Byju's etc. The average package offered to the B.Tech CSE freshers in my college is 3.5 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes to 7 lakhs. Some of the excellent studnets are also offered a package of 13-15 lakhs also.

Placements companies that used to come usually needed technical support people and not some developers that most of the batch was aspiring to be. Placements is quite poor, you to need to get a job on your own. You can't rely on the college for it. Most of the good students don't even waste their times on the companies that used to come. There is no alumni network.

This is the year they gave 100 %placemebt, all candidates placed in different companies, many companies come to campus, sony is one of them and some technology companies also came across, they takes multiple students with them, they gave placement of about 1.2 lkh per annum

The 100% placement is a myth. To be honest, placement depends on the students themselves alone. I got a better package when I scout for job on my own. The college regularly arranged placement campaigns. Some found desired jobs and some won't. Sometimes payscale or location don't suite the candidates hence placement is totally dependable.
