Likes

Good faculties. Some supports a lot for our education
Almost all are like brothers and sisters here.
Very friendly environment all around yhe collage including seniors

Dislikes

Collage bus fees are too high according to normal bus
Collage is on hill top. Almost 2 km above from the main town
Since on hill top, high risk of tanning of skin

Admission:

I directly applied here for the btech because i heard that this was one of the best collage in this district. The eligibility to this collage in NRI is simple. Just you need to pass the plus two. For others, we need to write the competitive exams like JEE or KEAM.

A brief overview of my 1 year experience in MDIT

Likes

The collage is situated on top of a hill with beautiful view and a nice atmosphere.
Everyone from the non working staffs to the teachers are very friendly and supportive.
Since M Dasan Institute also has a polytechnic and an arts collage there are more than enough facilities for everyone

Dislikes

The collage is situated in a rather remote location so only less people know about the collage
Since the collage is on top of a hill it rather contributes to a moody atmosphere making you feel drowsy
The collage is not well known among other collages in Kozhikode so the amount of students are comparatively low.

I tried applying for mechanical engineering in KMCT engineering collage.But they told me that I had to wait for spot admission to apply but then I found out about MDIT and as soon as I called they told to come and I liked the collage and it's vibe so I decided to join MDIT and ditched my plan to join KMCT. Also KMCT is known for fights taking place inside campus and all but compared to that MDIT seems much more peacefull.Hence I applied for BTECH mechanical engineering in Mdit

A good place to study

Likes

I like the faculty members of this college all the professors where so nice and helpful to each of the students.
The ambience of the college is soo good in this college
The college is situated in the top of a mountain so the view is good

Dislikes

College store facility is not that good. It does not have all the items the studnets want

Admission:

I did take the entrance exam and i got in merit seat here .the admission process easy. There are some facilities who were very helpful in the front desk.because i am a merit student the process is easy and the fees that i paid for each semester is 50000

More space but less ground for sports and mess house.

Admission:

The admission process was based on the KEAM 2020 examination. I got merit admission to MDIT Kozhikode. The course I adopted was Bachelor of Technology - Civil Engineering and the eligibility for the course is higher secondary education and the KEAM entrance examination. To apply for the exam, you can attend the site www. cee. Kerala. gov. in. The application fee will be more than 1000. By writing this exam and scoring a good rank can be very helpful for your admission in the Engineering / Technical field.

It’s a great for students who are trying to study engineering

The course requires a minimum of 60% in the 12th level exam, we can apply after qualifying Keam or apply for management or NRI seat We can apply for a scholarship if we have a full A+ in the 12th-level exam. But if we get any backlog the scholarship will be invalid.

All the candidates should satisfy the eligibility criteria announced by the government of Kerala in the prospectus issued from the office of the commissioner for entrance exams (CEE).50 % of the total sanctioned seats under each department will be filled up by the commissioner for entrance examination from the list prepared by the CEE on the basis of merit and in accordance with reservation principles followed by the state government. The remaining 50% of seats will be filled up by the college management according to merit. out of this 50%, 15% of the total seats are filled from the non-resident Indian (NRI) category. Tuition fees under govt. quota Rs 4500/- per year. Tuition under management quota Rs 50000/- per year
