The admission process at the college begins with an entrance test taken during the final year of secondary education. Candidates are ranked based on their test results, which determines their counseling slot. During counseling, candidates choose a course and confirm admission by paying the first-year fee. The college has a well-trained faculty focused on integrating new technology and ensuring students understand concepts through detailed explanations. The faculty is strict yet approachable, fostering a friendly learning environment.
The academic year is divided into two semesters, with a total annual fee of 2.5 lakh INR, though this may increase for new students. The dedicated Department of Training and Placements (DOTP) collaborates with multinational companies like TCS and Accenture, which are major recruiters. Almost all eligible students secure jobs through campus placements, although the college doesn't currently offer internship programs. A merit scholarship of around Rs 10,000 per semester is available for high-performing students, with funds disbursed through Union Bank or Indian Bank.
Additionally, a government-funded scholarship, DRCC, allows eligible students to receive loans directly transferred to the college. The total intake cost, including lodging and academics, is approximately Rs 115,000 per year, with admission fees incorporated into semester fees. Students also pay a nominal annual charge for a college fest. Special scholarships are offered to students from Bihar and Haryana.
