Kc college of engineering review

Faculties are helpful and knowledgeable,
Computer lab are highly maintained, and room are well furnished
For a week students facultys are organised remedial lectures for end sem studies

Dislikes

There are no hostel in kc college, and infrastructure wise kc college was dissent, there no ground for playing, lab are good, walking distance from thane station. Faculty was such a great and helpful, main building was very small and workshops also s
Placement was good but ration of placement is less to my expectations. TCL,TCS , Wytesx,are come for placement.
Event and fest about this my experience was good no problem

Admission:

KC college one of the best college in thane that whyy . I got addmission in kc college. Addmission bases on MH CET and JEE main ,KC college is minority college, for minority students college give relaxation.

The infrastructure and the staff teaching
Campus as per the fees is quite decent imo
Also the college has 2 volleyball courts cricket turf

Dislikes

Placement should be improving more considering fees
Cleanliness is little bit not to good in water cooler and filters
There's not much of events in the college

When the CAP round was going on, I applied for most of the colleges which were nearby to me. Some from Navi Mumbai and 3 colleges from Thane including mine. I have 83.6 percentile in MHT-CET exam and based on that I got allotted in this college in 2nd round of CAP. I had remaining two options for college in Thane the first A.P Shah Institute of Technology and the other one VPM's College. But I chose kc college over both of them because they were far away from my house and it's routes were very complicated. So when I got allotted in this college I freezed my seat and took hassle free admission in this college. It is a decent college in Thane for those who are scoring average and stay nearby Thane and want college nearby.

A student's perspective on clg

Likes

I liked the faculty and the way they help us
I like our college garden alot it's very peaceful
Many events happens in our college that makes us feel fresh

Dislikes

Our canteen very less food is available in clg
Our security guard anyone can enter in our college they'll not care
And our Concession sir he's very rude as if we've emergency then also he'll say ki kal aana

Admission:

I gave CET exam in which I got 80 percentile and I wanted to do IIT course which is information technology course. I applied mostly as much of colleges I know in Mumbai, Thane district and I got allotted this college for my information technology degree. That's why I chose this college because I got allotted this college and because of this I am paying fees also very less like my college fees is 110,000 but I am paying 67,000 because of EBC scholarship.

All colleges have same admission process we want give a exam of mht cet or Jee mains and got good percentile to get admission in this college . But in this college there are many clubs like anti ragging , IETE , Rotract club, NSS , etc there are many they help student in increse connections and communications.

Faculty is very cooperative and supportive.
College clubs conduct many events and also with the help of these clubs enhancement of skills are done.

Dislikes

Placements are not so good in KC which affects a lot and causes trouble in off-campus placements.
The infrastructure of the college is average not so overwhelming
Canteen is small and contains less food and sometimes the place is crowded and untidy.

There are no entrance or ant other process for admission , you just have to follow the CAP round and on the basis of your CET percentile if you are eligible and fit in proper cut off you get allot to the college. If you have good percentile there are chances of getting a good college. In 2022 , the cut off for KC was 85 percentile , every year it changes.

The campus isn't that great and branches are less

Yeah you have give MHT CET entrance exam to take admission yes for OBC and Reserve people the fees is 50 percent less and for sc/st only university fees is applicable I don't the admission area needs improvement it's okay

College campus is very beautiful and connected to nature
Labs are well equipped with latest computers and instruments
The staff and college security is very friendly

Dislikes

Some teachers are not understanding at all they don’t acknowledge the reason for leave
Some teachers can get very revengeful if you don’t lick their asses
Parking space can be an issue sometimes when there are exams going on

Admission:

Eligibility of courses is standard as advised by the University of Mumbai. All the applicants that wish to take admission are assisted beforehand by teachers and advised by them to take admission in particular field. Reservation seats are well numbered as well as the college is a Punjabi minority college so they have an advantage there.

Likes

Infrastructure is huge like most of the collage and renovation is going on
They immediately fix things which are broken in the colllege

Dislikes

Fees collecting staff is not working as good
