KLEMSSCET PG Admission 2025
KLEMSSCET offers M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programs at the PG level, each spanning 2 years. Admission for the M.Tech program is a prerequisite to holding a GATE or Karnataka PGCET score, and a minimum of 50% in BE. MBA’s are awarded based on Karnataka PGCET, CAT, MAT, or GMAT scoring criteria and a minimum 50% in any bachelor’s degree. For MCA, a BCA or equivalent with 50% and a Karnataka PGCET or KMAT score is mandatory.

KLEMSSCET Admission Process 2025
Admission to KLEMSSCET is entrance-based for admission following KLE Technological University guidelines. For admission to BE, a candidate must have a valid score in KCET or COMEDK or JEE Main, and the candidates must possess 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. KLEMSSCET Admission FAQs
Ques. Is it easy to take admission in KLEMSSCET?
Ans. The admission to KLEMSSCET is moderately competitive. Admission is granted through KCET for the students from Karnataka, COMEDK for those from states other than Karnataka, and Management Quota for those not eligible under either mode. Some branches like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering are filled quickly with top-ranking students, whereas doubts due to flexibility in cut-offs arise in branches like Civil or Chemical. Since the institute is affiliated with VTU, all the procedures are carried out according to VTU norms. Students need to participate in the usual rounds of counselling. In case one goes the management route, they'll be charged a higher fee in exchange for which only basic eligibility and an interview might be necessary.
Ques. Can a branch be changed after admission into KLEMSSCET?
Ans. Branch change at KLEMSSCET is possible but not certain. After completion of the first year, one can apply for a branch slide during internal counselling, depending upon seat availability, their first-year CGPA, and higher cutoffs for popular branches like CSE. Those admitted under the Management quota may find themselves restricted. Confirm with the academic office after admission.

Ans. Most of the admission process is online via the KEA or COMEDK portals, including application, counselling, and fee payment.
