To have been a part of Algappa College of Technology,Anna University Chennai has made me really well independent and Well skilled. The supporting environment speaks everything about the college. The students are encouraged to grow their strengths.

The admission for M.Tech is based on your rank and score in TANCET examination. After graduating B.Tech, i appeared for TANCET and qualified with a good rank around 3000. Then based on my rank, after counselling, I was luckily selected in ACT for my master's program.

To get admission in the course a candidate must have to appear in the exam of GATE and TANCET and have qualify good score in any of the entrance exams. Student can apply from the college website by filling the application form and any graduate student can apply for the course. The counselling and interview will be conducted on the bases of ranking.

I cleared GATE in the year 2009 with a percentile of 87.5. I had always wanted to study Biotechnology and Anna University is the forerunner in Tamil Nadu. The admission process was pretty easy involving single window counselling. They publish a rank list based on our marks and seats are allocated accordingly. TANCET and JNU exams are also eligible for admission.
