CSIR- Central ElectroChemical Research Institute offers a unique B. Tech course in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic) – Class XII as per the TNEA 2021 norms prescribed by Anna University. The admission will be on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) rank list.
Candidates seeking admission under other state quota should have passed (10+2) or the equivalent exam recognized by any Central Board / Sate Board or any other Board (other than Tamil Nadu) accepted by Anna University, Chennai. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. For General and OBC(NCL) category minimum marks in PCM should be 50% and for SC/ST it should be 40%. The candidates will be selected on the basis of JEE Main All India Rank.

The selection of candidates will be purely based on the merit list as published under TNEA 2021.
TNEA or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is conducted by Anna University, Chennai for candidates wishing to pursue Engineering degree in institutes belonging to Tamil Nadu.

Additional Course/Training Program
CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), is conducting refresher courses/ training program in various fields, each for a duration of 5 days. Interested candidates have to send the application form at the prescribed address.
Each candidate has to pay Rs. 17,250/- (Course Fee Rs. 15,000/- + Rs. 2250/- as 15% Service tax). For overseas fees is USD 750.
