Institute of Management, Nirma University offers a 5 year duration Integrated BBA-MBA course with the seat intake capacity 216. The selection in the course is based on the IPMAT entrance exam. IMNU Integrated BBA-MBA Eligibility

The minimum eligibility for the course is mentioned as follows:

• Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with 60% marks in aggregate.
• Those who have passed qualifying examination from outside India should produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
• Age of candidates shall not be more than 20 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.
• NRI sponsored candidates need to produce a Sponsorship Letter from an NRI with an undertaking to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire course.
• Additionally, they have to produce Documentary evidence of the Sponsorer having NRI status.

IMNU Integrated BBA-MBA Selection Criteria

The entire selection process of the institute will be done in two phases.

• At first, candidates with a valid score in IPMAT are shortlisted by the institute. This test is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.
• After that the screened candidates are called for a personal interview.
• Students should carry their documents along with themselves at the time of PI.
• Finally, selection is done on the basis of academic performance in qualifying exam (12th), score in IPMAT exam and performance in PI.

For Gujarat Candidates

Applicants who belong to the state of Gujarat are selected based on their performance in class 12th exam and personal interview. 

For Foreign Nationals

• Selection of NRI candidates will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam.
• However, for NRI Sponsored candidates the institute will conduct its own Admission Test for shortlisting. The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the Admission Test, Personal Interview and Qualifying (12th) Exam.

How to Apply Nirma University Integrated BBA-MBA Course?

Candidates have to fill two separate application forms for the course. The first form will be for the IPMAT exam and the second one will be for the Institute of Management, Nirma University. The steps to fill the form are listed-below:

Steps to Apply for IPMAT

1. Visit the official website of IIM Indore i.e www.iimdrc.
2. Select the Integrated Program menu from the page.
3. Now click on the “Apply Online” tab.
4. Register by providing basic details.
5. Upload photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
6. Make payment of INR 3540/- (INR 1770/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) towards application fee via Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card.
7. After payment, submit the form.

After taking the exam, applicants have to apply to the institute by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Institute of Management, Nirma University.
2. Select the “Apply” option under Admission & Aid
3. Register by entering the required details.
4. After registration, proceed to fill the application form.
5. Also, upload the necessary documents.
6. Once the form will be filled, pay application fees of INR 1500/- through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
7. Lastly, submit the application form.

IMNU Ahmedabad offers a 5 years duration integrated Btech MBA course. The selection in the Integrated course are based on the JEE(Main) entrance exam scorecard. And the final selection is based on the personal interview round of the students.

IMNU Integrated BTech-MBA Eligibility

• The candidates seeking admission in the first year of Integrated B. Tech (CSE)-MBA shall have passed the HSC or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Candidate must have appeared for JEE (Main) examination.

The international students can apply under one of the following two categories:

Category 1 : Foreign Nationals having non-Indian passports (FN), OR foreign students having non-Indian passport and also having the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can apply under OCI/PIO/FN Supernumerary category that has 10% seats reserved. The students from SAARC countries can apply under the FN category, however they will be charged the fees as per the Indian National regular fees.

Category 2 : Students whose parents are currently working in Gulf countries or South-east Asia can apply under CIWGC-SEA Supernumerary category that has 5% seats reserved. The students must hold Indian passports, and should have passed qualifying exams either from India or outside of India.

IMNU Integrated BTech-MBA Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Admission Test [JEE]
• After that the shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview round.
•  The interview will be conducted in selected cities viz Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Indore, Delhi, Jaipur, and Mumbai. 
• The candidates will be finally selected for admission based on the candidates’ performance in the Admission Test [JEE], Personal Interview and Academic Performance in XII.

Note: The Institute reserves the right to drop or add any interview centre.

The final merit shall be determined based on the following criteria:

IMNU Integrated BTech-MBA Reserved Seats

For All India students, 85% of the total in-take shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and have appeared for JEE (Main).

Institute of Management, Nirma University also offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. courses. The selection in the ph.D. course is based on the NET/JRF/SLET/ GATE /GPAT entrance exam scorecard. Also the final selection is based on the personal interview round of the candidates.

IMNU PhD Eligibility

It is mandatory for desiring students to meet the following eligibility to fill the application form:

Eligibility for Full-Time PhD Course

• Candidates should have a Master’s degree or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade “B” in the UGC 7 Point Scale.
• Final year candidates can also apply provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria by June 30.

Eligibility for Part-Time PhD Course

• Candidates should have a Master’s degree or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade “B” in the UGC 7 Point Scale.

OR

• Candidates possessing a degree considered equivalent to MPhil degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency are also eligible.

IMNU PhD Selection Criteria

• The institute conducts the Admission Test for shortlisting students. 
• The test will be held at Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi. Indore and Jaipur.
• Those who have qualified UGC NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/GPAT/Teacher Fellowship/M.Phil are exempted from appearing in the Admission Test.
• Candidates who will score more than 50% marks in Admission Test or qualified candidates of above mentioned exams are called for PI round.
• Hence, the final selection will depend upon the score in the Admission Test and performance in Personal Interview.

NOTE - In case of part-time PhD course, the qualified candidates are also required to make a presentation of their research interest/area before a Department Research Committee

Candidates are selected based on the following criteria:

The interview/viva-voce shall also consider the following aspects, viz. whether:

• the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research;
• the research work can be suitably undertaken at the Institution;
• the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.
• An interview/viva-voce to be organised by the University when the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before the Department Research Committee.
• The final selection will be based on following criteria:Weightage of 70% to the entrance test and weightage of 30% to the performance in the interview/ viva-voce.
