Low placement and internship support through college

Placement Experience:

Highest package last year was of 40 LPA in CSE branch. the average package of college is 7LPA and in CSE branch it is 12 LPA around. Even you don't get placed in campus placement you can get good off campus placement as the branch is Computer sciene you have to good at skills required to get good packages.

Word View Of My College

After 7th semester students are eligible for college placement. About 15 to 20 companies are visiting our campus for placement. The packages are not so good but decent. The highest package for CSE is Around 18 lpa and the average package is 5LPA. For the ECE branch, the highest package is 8 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA, Similarly for the mechanical branch the highest and average package is around 15 LPA and 5 LPA.

In 7th sem you are eligible to sit in placements with placement criteria. Maruti,samsung, tcs etc Highest is 15lpa and avg is around 5 to 6 lpa There's very low placement package from campus like 3lpa ,4lpa . 30% to 40% of students of the batch make it to get a job . Im preparing for GATE. So as the best time after the degree what's suits best either go for masters or join any job .

GB pant engineering college in nutshell

After 6th semester the companies start to take interviews with eligible students Oracle, Infosys, TCS, and Haier are a few names that offer placements in this college. The percentage of students getting placements is nearly eighty.

On-campus placement is too bad, almost 650000 is the average package for CSE and almost 200000-300000 is the average package. Don't depend on campus placement so go for off-campus placement, you will get better.

Packages here are quite low if we talk about the average which was around 6-7 lakhs and the highest package offered was 18-20 lakhs when this college was under IPU but now it's under DSEU so changes are expected. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, ByJu's and Maruti Suzuki.
