Arihant Group of Institutes (AGI), established in 2005, is a multidisciplinary college located in Pune. Affiliated to Savitri Bai Phule Pune University, AGI offers a wide spectrum of undergraduate courses (BBA, B.Com., B.Sc., B.Ed) and postgraduate courses (MBA, M.Sc.) in multiple specializations. In adition to the UG and PG programs, the college also offers various diploma courses.

Admission to the UG courses is done strictly on the basis of marks secured in 10+2 followed by a personal interview.
Candidates applying for the BBA should have passed their 10+2 from any recognized board with minimum aggregate marks of 40%.
Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. should have passed their 10+2 from any recognized board in science stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
For admissions to B.Ed., candidates must possess graduate degree with minimum 50% aggregate of marks.
Admissions to the MBA course are done on the basis of merit in CAT Exam for candidates with a graduate degree.
Candidates applying for the PG Diploma courses need to have a diploma degree with 2-year experience thereafter or any graduate degree from a recognized board/university.
Applications for all the courses can be submitted online and the registration process usually starts in the month of May.

Arihant Group of Institutes UG Admissions 2023

Arihant Group of Institutes (AGI) candidates applying for the BBA and BBA-CA (Computer Applications) course should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board from any recognized board with minimum aggregate marks of 40%. For B.Sc. course, mathematics at 10+2 level is a compulsory subject.

Admission is done on the basis of merit obtained in 10+2 examination.
Once the candidates are shortlisted, they are required to appear for the personal interview round.
Final merit list is prepared after the PI round.
Candidates can also apply for the course with their marks in CET.

B.Ed	-	Graduate degree in any discipline with 50% minimum aggregate marks and should have passed Class 12^th from a recognized board.	Shortlisted on the basis of merit obtained in graduate degree. Final selection is done on the basis of performance in the PI round.

Admissions are done on the first come first serve basis. Candidates need to apply for the course online through the official website.

Shortlisted candidates will be intimidated about the schedule of the PI round by mail.
Upon shortlisting, further proceedings (Written Test/Personal Interview) are done at the AGI Pune Campus 1.
In case of B.Ed admission, if the candidate has completed his postgraduate degree, then the required minimum aggregate is 55%

Candidates seeking admission to MBA must possess bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks in any discipline. Admission to the course is done on the basis of merit obtained in CAT examination.

Selection of candidates for the MBA program is a two-step process:

In the first step, the candidates are called for Written Test – Personal Interview (PI) round based on their CAT scores and marks secured in Class 12^th examination and work experience.
In the second step, merit of a candidate will be calculated with his/her performance in the WAT-PI round and admission lists will be generated.

Overseas candidate can apply with their GMAT scores instead of CAT scores.
Shortlisted candidates will be intimidated about the schedule of the PI round through mail.
Candidates applying with a PG degree need not appear for the written test round that is held at the campus.

Candidates applying for the M.Sc. in computer science course should have B.Sc. degree in computer science with minimum 50% aggregate of marks.

Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. After the candidates are shortlisted, they have to appear for the personal interview round held at the AGI Pune campus. Final merit list is prepared after the PI round. Candidates can also apply for the course with their marks in CET.

Candidates applying for the various postgraduate diploma courses should have a graduate degree in any discipline. For the PGDBM course, candidates should have a BBA/MBA degree with minimum experience of 2 years and 50% marks in qualifying degree.

Candidates need to apply online for all the courses.

Candidates applying for the MBA course and the PGDBM course can apply with their CAT scores.
Upon registration, an application number and form is generated.
Candidates need to fill in their personal details and then fill their qualifying degree marks, Class 10, Class 12 examination marks, work experience etc. online
The application fee is INR 750 for the MBA course and INR 500 for all other courses.
The application fees can be paid online using Credit/Debit card or net banking facility.
Shortlisted candidates need to take a printout of this application form and bring it along with them for the PI round.

Original mark sheet (12th Std. Mark Sheet or equivalent for Bachelor Degree Courses / Graduation / Degree Certificate for Master Degree Courses)

Reservation Criteria

A relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks is given for candidates belonging to the OBC/SC/ST categories.
Reservation is provided based on the regulations laid down by the Government of India for reservations in the Indian Institute of Technologies.
The reservation categories and their percentages have been specified below -

Scholarships

AGI offers scholarships according to the SPPU rules.
A stipend is given to candidates pursuing their PG degrees.
Scholarship is given for candidates belonging to the PwD categories too.
Many Merit-cum-means scholarships, Endowment prizes, Alumni funded scholarships and Inspire Scholarships are offered.
Banking Assistance in the form of loans is offered by banks operating within the campus.

Admission:

I had my parents coming with me for having the admission in this college. So I went to the office I asked about all of my doubts. The college has partnered with a lot of international colleges and shares a lot of useful resources with them. In this way, we are able to get the world class international faculties coming to the college from time to time to teach us few topics of the subjects.
