IEC Group of Institutions was established in the year 1981 with a view to impart education in the field of Information Technology. The main campus of the university is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and has 7 offices in India and abroad. The institute currently offers multiple courses in up to 7 disciplines viz. Computer Education, Science, Technology and Management, Hotel Management, Pharma and Vocational Courses.

IEC is recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to AKTU under which the institute offers technical and management courses. Also, all the Pharmacy courses offered by the institute are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Key Points regarding IEC Admission:

Candidates must clear the qualifying exam/ degree in order to be deemed eligible to apply.
Some of the specialized/professional courses require the applicants to score at least 50% marks in their last qualifying exam.
A valid UPSEE/ JEE main score for B.Tech candidates and GATE score for MTech candidates is mandatory.
MBA candidates are required to submit their CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score.
Candidates are selected for Diploma programs on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.
Reservation is provided as per norms set by Government of India.
Candidates applying for courses offered by IEC can register through online/ offline mode. Application process is common for all courses.

IEC, Greater Noida UG Admission 2024

IEC offers BTech and B.Pharm. courses under its undergraduate degree program. There are 6 core specializations offered under the B.Tech program and the basic eligibility criteria is a 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in PCM. Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in UPSEE (for UP students only) or JEEE and merit.

Applicants can fill the application form either by offline mode, which involves collecting the form from the campus or downloading a copy from the institute website, or through online submission. Payment of application fee of INR 1500 can be made either in cash/DD for offline mode, and via net banking/CC/DC for online mode. All requisite documents are to be submitted in both cases for the application to be considered.

Candidates can also apply for any of the courses listed above under Management Quota.
NRI candidates are required to obtain student’s visa from Indian High Commission after issuance of admission letter.
All candidates except NRI students must go through a counselling session held either by AKTU or by the institute as applicable.
The institute provides loan assistance of up to 10 lacs for Indian candidates and up to 20 lacs for NRI candidates.

IEC, Greater Noida PG Admission 2024

IEC accepts admission to its various PG courses listed under 3 disciplines which include Management Studies, MTech programs, and Pharmacy.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to PG courses offered by the institute is a graduate degree in the relevant discipline. M.Tech candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech or equivalent degree to be eligible for admission. A valid GATE score is required for all M.Tech aspirants, and CAT/MAT/XAT/equivalent score in case of MBA candidates.

Both online and offline mode of filling of application form is allowed for all the eligible candidates. Payment of fees can be made either in cash/DD or via Net Banking/CC/DC. All applicants are required to attend the counselling session as applicable.

NRI candidates must go through FFRO registration prior to admission.
For M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, candidates with MCA degree or M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology can also apply.
Candidates with M.Sc in Electronics Engineering are eligible to apply for M.Tech in Electronics Engineering and related branches.

IEC, Greater Noida Diploma Admission 2024

The institute also offers Diploma programs in Hotel Management and Pharmacy. The duration of D.Pharm is 2-years while DHM is of 1-year duration. The minimum eligibility for both the programs is a pass in 10+2.

Admission to Diploma programs is based on the merit secured in the qualifying exam.

IEC Application Process 2024

Candidates applying for any of the courses offered by IEC can do so through online/ offline mode.

A copy of the application form can be collected from the institute’s office or downloaded online if the candidate is applying through offline mode.

Candidates applying through online mode can use the application form available on the institute’s website.
Application/registration fees of Rs.1500/- is to be paid for application to be valid. It can be paid in cash/DD or via net banking/CC/DD

Candidates allotted seats in IEC through AKTU counselling can fill the application form on campus upon payment Rs.1500/- as Registration fee

For Management Quota candidates, candidates are required to send an enquiry with all relevant documents for scrutiny of eligibility. If found eligible, the candidate will be required to fill an application form and submit it along with relevant documents (original & photocopies) and the prescribed fee of Rs.1500/-

For NRI candidates, admission is subject to meeting all eligibility norms, verification of requisite documents, and obtaining student visa from Indian High Commission. An admission letter is issued to the eligible applicant. He/she will then require to register for the course applied and submit the application form with all relevant documents and pay the annual fee.

IEC Greater Noida Reservation 2023

Reservation is provided as per norms set by the GOI, AICTE and UP State Government.
Fee Waiver of Tuition Fee allowed to women, physically handicapped and backward class candidates for UG courses only.

IEC COLLEGE OF Engineering and technology

Admission:

I got admission from GNIOT . That is in GREATER NOIDA again . I chose IEC because my seniors have got placed in Cisco after the college and I feel it's really very impressive to see the thing rather than just taking for btech degree . Looking for placement cell is the most important for us to look at . You can get admission in IEC direct also and through JEE mains also . The cutoff goes till 6lac for btech and you should must keep this colleg in mind.
