Being an open university, there are no campus placements. But the University make sure to provide you ample opportunities. Mostly the ones promoted by the government. It conducts seminars with important personalities. After the Masters degree you can give an exam and start your Phd in the same University. Or you can clear NET to get into other central universities. This is if you want to continue in the academic line.

But most of the students already have a job that?s why they choose to purse graduation through distance mode. However this is not true for every student. So if any students wants a job, they have to look for themselves which is easier today, you can do it online very easily.

Placement Experience:

Please don't except that you'll get a high package job just after your graduation but yes you may find one. You can easily be hired for media jobs. The university does not provide any kind of internships but yes as this is a distance course you can go for part-time jobs like article writing or any other.

Placement Experience:

The college placement is very low. Rarely students get selected to the companies . The course which I have chosen is not a professional course and thus no company recruit Art graduates . Students mostly aim for government jobs and post graduation. Our college do offer short term professional workshops which help us a lot in our career development.
