Is VJCET for you?

Likes

The campus is amazingly clean and beautiful.
The faculties are quite friendly and are very supportive.
The college ensures that all the students get the minimum required knowledge.

Dislikes

The college lacks a enough cultural programs and fests.
Its only for the students whose sole purpose is studying. Don't join the college to have fun its definitely made for the studious ones.
It doesn't focus on the students innate talents. By talents I mean talents which aren't required by the course like singing , dancing etc.

Admission:

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. My colleges admission procedure includes selcting the best students having brilliant marks in 12th standard and Keam.

My College life

Likes

The college is provided with good faculties
There is no ragging.if did will got severe punishment.
The campus provide calm environment so its get calmness for students to learn

Dislikes

There is no lift so transportation to next block is difficult
Working hour is too long so we get tired soon
There are less programs in college so its not an entertainment college

Admission:

I choose this college because I heard from my school senior who were studied btech here were placed in good companies with good salary so i preferred this college .i have attempted keam entrance exam to get admission in this college. i got passed in that exam and got admission for computer science engineering.

Likes

Teaching skill of our teachers are good as we expected
Training for placement traning is so apt for good placement
There are more internship scopes in this college.

Dislikes

Over assignments and all while internal exams
Strict attendance checking during unwanted occations
More strict to take printed note always.

As I was applied for 2engineering colleges and 1 arts and science college. The name of the engineering colleges is 1)viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam(Ernakulam) 2)Rajagiri school of engineering and technology (Ernakulam). And third arts and science college name is Amritha vidhya college (Ernakulam). I didn't get any rejections from these colleges but compared to these three colleges I chose viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam Ernakulam because there I got my admission according to my JEE score and for less management fees. Here the admission process happens through considering the JEE and KEAM entrance exam score

The teachers are very friendly and supportive...
It's an environmental friendly campus with all the amritas like food stationery photo star extra
This college provide great lap facilities with great teacher in charges

Dislikes

Some teachers are some what over strict and and no programs are there
The colleges strictly focusing on the studies and the placements no any programs are or programs events are there in our college
Some teachers are well educated but still they are not aware how to properly teach the students or give information on a particular topics

The teaching method is very accurate, helpfull and easy understanding of topics
The teachers nd the management are very supportive and friendly
Principal,vice principal ,HOD,tutor are very much aware of each students study criteria

Dislikes

College don't provide much parties or programs
Teachers are bit over strict and the management too
Most Saturdays are working so that some stress is been faced by the Students

As I had joined firstly in Adi Sankara college...but soon I realised the truth that adi Sankara don't provide enough workshops and teaching is bad compared to Viswajyothi...so that I change to Viswajyothi

The college campus is very large and big.

Here the students are really of the same vibe on any reason. And the faculty members are strict about their subject at the same time
We have everything a college need. Fully air condition labs, High Specced computers.

Dislikes

We don't even get a free period to relax.
To end the syllabus they take continuous hours of class.

Admission:

You might have attended KEAM entrance exam and should have marks above it's pass marks.You need more than 80% on the 12th board exam, and should have good grades on the SSLC exam. The faculty will help you full the forms with us.

My experience

Likes

Student outcome after their graduation is good.
Most of the faculties are supportive and good
The college is located nearer to my home.

Dislikes

Social interactions are less with other batches and seniors
Extra Programs and activities are comparatively lesser than other government colleges
College is strict. Parents has to inform tutor if we need a leave.

Admission:

You have to pass KEAM for the admission eligibility. Each course have different cut-offs. My course cut-off was 38683rank. I had a rank of 32002. That's the way I joined here. You can find application form and fees at the time of Admission from the college office. You can refer college site for informations. Here series exam are conducted each after one and a half months. That is there will be two series exam in each semester. I we study well we could crack those exams. There are nothing to improve in admission process
