An honest review

Likes

The overall studious environment here provided us the opportunity to study hard with many future options.
The interaction with the staff and faculty is very good and approachable.
The availablity and opportunities for sports and other activities is very good.

Dislikes

Sometimes there is a lot of crowd during normal walkways.
Increase in population in hostels as I missed the opportunity to take hostel rooms.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after they reach the 7th sem. There are opportunities for good placement in local and even MNC companies. There is L&T and many other local companies that visit campus for placements. The highest package received by a fresh B-tech civil engineer is around 7-8 lacks. Which revolves around the average package of 3-4 lacks. The percentage of students getting placement is very good. I too plan for placement with a package of 4-5 lacks after completing my degree.

Campus life, 150 acres of campus is hugeee.
Faculties and behavior are very good and updated.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough, Many companies come to our University for recruitment. For Each and every branch companies come to take students. The placement ratio is also good. I am thinking to do my masters here only.

Diploma at Parul University

Likes

Parul university has one of the huge campus in vadodara.
Faculty at Parul University is very supportive.
Parul university is budget friendly and food quality is good in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I compared 4-5 colleges but I selected computer science at Parul university because they have a practical-based syllabus. The faculty of Parul University is very supportive. The quality of education is outstanding and they have facilities like Wi-Fi-based labs and classrooms.

A NAAC A++ college yet so underrated

Likes

Faculty behavior and the knowledge they had
Campus life, the vibe and the view in and around
Research opportunity, well maintained labs

Dislikes

Attendance criteria and pressure of assignments
Classroom environment and the quality of benches
Sometimes change in the academic calender

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester you become eligible and plenty of companies will visit and as a fresher opportunities are available but not up to the mark. Higher salaries are also offered as well as the average package is okay too.

Searching opportunities come to parul

Likes

Infrastructure : parul University has the beautiful infrastructure and facilities for hostlers as well as for day scholars
Shop inside the campus and food court are best place for hangout with friends and take tea brakes
They mostly focus on you practical experience and also focus on developing your personality

Dislikes

They take full annual hostel fees at once only
They have gym and swimming pool earlier the fees of gym and swimming was included in hostels fees now they wi charge extra 5000 for it
There must be a late night canteen inside a hostel so that students can eat at mid if they are hungry

Placement Experience:

There are no companies which comes in Parul University for placement company such as adani, LNT for civil engineering usually come in parul University avg placement for these companies are 600000 per year . 60-80% of students usually get placed from this University

Life at Parul University

Likes

Infrastructure, faculty,fees structure,events , placements
Different culture people came together and celebrate all the festivals together

Dislikes

Temparature as I grown in an another weather it was little hard to get settled

Placement Experience:

We have brilliant placements and a training department. They specially train the students for the placement interview. In the 4th of the course, they train the student for 2 months and then the students are ready to go for placement.

Likes

College vibe and atmosphere I liked it most
Library and reading room is placed that I can study.
I also like number of fest our university hosting in year Dhoom, Techfest, projection, Techexpo

Dislikes

Placement I did not like placement and only 1 core company came for placement
Fee structure it is not affordable but still
It is situated far from Vadodara city so you'd have to travel each day 20-30 km

Placement Experience:

My college placement is not good. So from the 7th sem students becomes eligible for campus placements So in the aero department, this year a Hi-tech company visited and the salary was 240000 per annum There are only 2 students get placed in the placement drive 90 students My plans after completing my btech is to find a job

Seminars, events, celebrity visits, Celebration of all festivals.

Dislikes

Mess food , We have to pay the fees in the starting of semester only both hostel and college fees .
We cannot pay hostel fee in monthly installments.

Placement Experience:

Placement is totally dependent on our grades. So many technical companies visit our campus every year for placements like Microsoft, Infosys, IBM, TCS, etc. Last year's highest package was 35 lakhs. I am planning for our campus placement as I am dependent on the college for placements. After 3rd-year students get placements if their grades are good.

campus life is so good it have so much greenery ,well-maintained lawns.garderns and even the architectural design they also enhance campus beauty and have every facility that a student need in day to day life for survival they have canteen
hostel rooms are even good with attached washrooms
reading room with comfortable chairs and tables

Dislikes

mess food Is that only thing that I disliked

Course Curriculum Overview:

because from start I wanted to opt cse that's why I chose this course and even the fees of college are affordable. there is a class of 70 students with 1 teacher . the faculty member has good qualifications some are nit graduated others are doing their phd .and exams are easy.

Likes

I like the campus of the college and its friendly environment.
There are places like canteen which are good as well food court.
There are some practical lab which are good and provide good knowledge for students.

Dislikes

There is no time provided for internship as it says complete your internship in vacation.
College provide academic calendar in the start of year but they do not provide exam time table prior to one month.

Placement Experience:

There are placement in college but relatively less in ratio compared to total number of students. From 7th semester you can apply for campus selection for placement. There are some renowned company which visited Parul this year such as ADANI.PVT.LTD, L&T, etc. The ratio of selection is comparatively low. My plan for after degree is pursuing master in business administration.
