PIET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

On the recommendation of my teacher and seniors, I enrolled in this course. Some faculty members are PhD holders and some are MSC. The teaching methods of teachers are well in the first year but not good in the second year. There are 3 sessionals and two semesters of exams happened in one semester.

I chose the B.tech CSE course at the suggestion of my seniors. The faculty ratio is 1:30.Some faculty members are PhD holders and some are not. Faculty members are good at teaching in the first year but after the first year, faculty are not good at teaching. There are 3 terms each month.

On admission time all the teachers are like god but after that, no teacher look after the students. if students have to sign on any paper they say go there to this teacher and to this teacher. They were busy and faculty members in the account department and scholarship department were very very bad I was really dissatisfied with them.

From the 7th sem, students start involved in campus placements. Companies like Mobikwiki and techno have come, providing the highest package 38 LPA (google), and the average package is between 4 to 5 LPA. Most of the students, almost 85 % get placements from cse branches.

All the staff's were very professional and highly qualified. 16:1 student ratio. All the staff were highly qualified like PHD, masters etc. Also faculty teaching methods were friendly. Term exam every 6 months and not really very difficult as according to faculty teaching methods.

From the 7th sem students becomes eligible for placements. The highest package for college is given by Google at 38 LPA, but the average package is near about 4 to 5 LPA. Almost 90 % of students get placed in sales companies from cse, IT, and ECE branches.

The highest package is 38 lakhs and the average package is 6 lakhs. About 95% of students get placements on campus only. My plan after getting placement is to do a job in an MNC company.

The placement offered by the college is a average. The highest package is 38lpa which is offered by Google. Almost 70 - 80 percentage of students are getting placed every year in Wipro, Accenture, TCS and so on..
