Pailan College of Management and Technology Kolkata Placement 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Companies like Aaj Tak, India Today, 24ghanta, TCS, Wipro visit the campus for placements. The media industry seeks journalists. However, the placement cell can be more active.

Hyatt, Infosys, ITC, Just dial, Just Dial, JW Marriott, Lotte, Mahindra and Mahindra, and many other companies would visit our campus for the placement drives. College provides special assistance for the placement process, organizing mock interviews and giving special tips for the interview rounds, like dos and don'ts of a GD, etc. Overall placements are good in our college. On average, students secured a package of around 3 LPA.

The worst thing about my college is its placement record. Past placement record is very bad. We got only 3-4 good opportunity in BCA and and college organized only 2 campusing in our college and they was not reputed companies. It was a call center job.salary was only 7-8kmont. only we got 2 good comanies job opportunity,tech Mahindra and Wipro,salary package was good around 15k in joining but only few student got Job.

1. Only Ed. Tech. Companies provide internship in our campus, both paid and unpaid, But once Amazon visited our campus for the internship but nobody has been eligible. 2. College provides the projects only for semester students. You may also do your own project, in this case college will guide you.

Our college placement is so good. They send students for good renowned companys' off campus drive, like Larsen and Toubro, Wipro. Otherwise there are other on campus drives like from the companies of Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Capgemini etc.

There are not many great opportunities for on-campus placements. There are moderate opportunities in pool campus placements where a number of different colleges participate too. For on-campus drives, mostly IT startups come with offers and roles related to testing, development and voice process with an average package of 2-2.5 LPA.

Did not get any scope from the college. Had to do everything on your own. No placement was arranged for us as there was no placement cell when we completed our final year.

No such placements are available. Internships are provided to other institutes for development of our skills and knowledge.

Internships or Placements totally depends on how much the college is allowing the Campussing. Although its very hard nowadays to get placed from colleges as most of the top notch companies hire from the Top notch colleges in India. Its always better to apply from various job portals such as Naukri for better packages.

I am a student of 3rd year. So I am not eligible for a interview. But what I have heard from my seniors that some companies come but most of them are IT sector jobs which are suitable for IT or CSE students. But hardly any core company comes for placement for Electrical or Civil students. But let's discuss about the placement for IT jobs. There is generally an online exam with General Reasoning, Logical Aptitute and a few programing questions. From there students are selected and moved for a Group discussion and them for Personal Interview. So from a pool of 100 students, around 10-12 studw to finally get the job.
