Life of LJ University Students

Likes

The faculties of 1st year were really amazing.
The management of 1st year was really good.
I enjoyed going to the college in 1st year.

Dislikes

We didn't get proper faculties in 2nd Year.
The college increased the fees suddenly without informing us at the time of admission.
The management of second year is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are average.At the time of admission they told us that 100 % placement is there. But only 30% got placed from our college. Many companies visited for placement. The highest package was 12 LPA - 18 LPA , company name rtcamp.

The L J Institute Of Computer Application Campus is Environment Friendly.
The L J Institute Of Computer Applications Faculty Are Very Useful.
The L J Institute Of Computer Applications Computer Lab Are Well Updated.

Dislikes

The L J Institute Of Computer Applications Placement Cell Should Be Need To Improvement Their Coordinator.
The L J Institute Of Computer Applications Commit To The Fees Structure At The Time Of Admission And Should Not Make Any Changes During The Academic Year.
The L J Institute Of Computer Applications Does Not Provide a WI-FI Facilities To Students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA Course At L J Institute Of Computer Application Is Fairly Relevent, Covers Real-World Skills Like Programming And RDBMS , But Could Improve With More Industry Project And Updated Practical Work.

Overall L J Institute of Computer Application is best for Students from multiple point of views

The teaching approach is nice as per industry norms
I have enjoyed my campus life where we have learned new this with extra curriculum activities like Days celebration,sports days etc.
Our faculty are highly learned some of them are PHd scholars

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course included is nice and very advanced as per industry requments. Here in L J Institutes of Computer Application they always introduces new updated courses as required in Industry like latest they add BDE & PM as subject in MCA 2 year program.

Likes

Teaching is very good.teachers are friendly with us .
You can set after college time in the lab for study.

Dislikes

Campus is very cousy with vehicles in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have done BCA so hopefully most preferable in MCA so therefore I have taken MCA, and secondly it's my priority to go in IT field so I have taken MCA. Many extra opportunities are their for exam expo, innovation fair in which you can grab opportunity.

Likes

Campus is really big and have one canteen one tea post
There are many events organized by the college
Placement is provided but not 100%......

Dislikes

Faculty is not experienced and not well trained
Got many extra expenses , they are looting
No such college and dull placements.....

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is same old traditional. Same languages and methods. Focused more on therotical side than practical sides. Labs are well equipped with new generation computers. There are new labs made.

My Personal experience of LJ university

Likes

The faculties are nice and friendly their teaching methods are good.
After completing degree there are many companies that recruite you directly from the campus.
The reputation of university is also good in Ahmedabad competitive Universities.

Dislikes

There are many difficulties for getting degree.
Cultural affairs are very rare in university.

Placement Experience:

After 9th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Very famous companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, Cognizant and Reliance companies came in campus for recruitment and Students of LJ University, Ahmedabad received Highest Package offer of Rs. 15.00 Lakhs per annum and Average Package of Rs. 3.50 Lakhs per annum.

The thing I liked the most in LJ University is its campus area
Faculty of University is very helpfull ,they well experienced
Parking facilities for students are very convenient

Dislikes

The unnecessary crowd from outside without having permission

Our college promises the placement of minimum 4 lakhs p.a package and if by chance you fail to get placements they give there reference company to enroll in, but our college promises 100 percent placement

My experience - LJICA(vastrapur),Ahmedabad

Likes

Faculties are really helpful and friendly.
Flexible college timing and easy to understand syllabus.
Offers various sports tournaments and a relatively big library.

Dislikes

The campus is very small and shared among bba/bca.
Classrooms and benches are not very comfortable.
Computers and softwares are a bit old compared to current technology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It allows students with non science background to go into IT fields. The duration is 3 years and you will learn basics of every programming language like C, C++, java, python C# php javascript and so on with framework like .net etc. The course is just like every engineering college, it is a bit outdated and is very basic but the teachers are good and really helpful. Weekly exams are conducted in the form of mcq to improve one's understanding.

Campus is so nice that you gonna spend most of your time there only.
Nice ventilation arrangement in classroom.
Playground well maintained and too good to play.

Dislikes

Canteen is decent thst you can eat but dont stay for long time.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th Sem onwards. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, etc are visiting and around 60% are hired each year. The highest package of 10lac per year is provided in 2022 and average packages are of 4lac annually. Around 60-70% of students are getting placements. I am looking for a nice job in the around 5-6lac package after my degree.
