Hostel Facilities:

Hostel has 24 hours hot water Water cold and hot Study area are provided with an open courtyard Meal is fine with non-veg one time of the day Registeration comes along the fees structure itself We don't have a pg as it's a residential college

My 5 years

The rent for the hostel is like 30000 and we have most probably triple shared rooms. There are facilities like clock rooms, sick room, etc. The toilets are common , and there are 3 common toilet area for one floor.

Daily we have different types of food with different quality we get 4 times food a day the food are of below average and we used to eat at cafe because of that we get good quality fod someday that we eat it from canteen

Good hostel life,good friends,Isolation for self development

Hostel facilities are basic and doesnot mest the standards
Canteen food is unhealthy and doesnot improve over time

Hostel facilities are the main disadvantage of the campus.As it is a residential campus the hostel facilities shoulf have been better.Intitally i was offered 2 sharing rooms with 2 bunker beds in one room.And no shelves and storage space with locks.There are no space to work for architecture students to work in the hostel room.then i was shifted to 3 sharing with facilites for only two person.which made it more difficult. The toilets are very unclean and basic Hostel food is worst. Thee hostel is inside the college itself Hostels does nit meet the standard for the fees paid.

Foods are below average not that good but we can eat hostels are 3 person per not that good bathrooms are so and so ther are good menus for a week morning breakfast fro 7:00 to 9:00 and lunch tea snacks and dinner from 7:00 to 9:00

as this is a residential college , food courts, cafeterias are provided inside the college apart from canteen. laundry facilities are provided b the college for washing and ironing of clothes.

Our hostel is for girls . aroom consist of maximum 3 persons. each person is provided with achinese bunker with a table below and a storage space in side of the table. the rooms are well mainted food is not provided in the hostel . a separate canteen is arranged for meals.

Since It is a residential campus, all students are required to stay on campus, even if they live nearby. We aren't allowed to rent rooms or stay in PG's or homes outside the campus. This is a strict rule, and everyone , regardless of how close they live, must stay within the campus. Actually this gives pros and cons to the students. Talking about hostel's, The girl's hostel is quite good , with two wardens ensuring everything is well maintained . Rooms are decent, with bunk beds, study tables, and cupboards and there are common washroomson each floors. However, the boys hostel is much worse . It's an old building , and the facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. Compared to the girls hostel, the buys hostel feels pathetic. The meal quality is average.There is a decent variety, but the taste is about 6 or 7 out of 10.The registration process for both hostel and canteen happens at the time of joining itself.

Sometimes the food in the canteen is not good we have to continuously hold meetings with the food committee for changes

All students studying here have to cumpolsary live in the hostel provided by the college including our faculties. The girls hostel provides a 3 sharing room for the students. The beds are bunker beds in such a way that the bed is on top and your table is below and an extra cupboard is provided if you have more storage. Usually 2 common toilets with 7-8 bathrooms are there within each wing except ground floor as there are only few students there . There are no outside allotment allowed all students live in the hostels they take during admissions.

Know this before getting in DCSMAT

The food was pretty decent and there was even other cafeteria and a hotel inside campus to provide food.
The hostel provides laundry service which is very useful.

Boys hostel rooms. It can be made better and brought more facilities with regard to their over priced hostel fees
The idea of residential campus. This leave us with no choice but to stay in hostel. That will bring boredom to a next level. Students don't have anything else to do in campus even if they are having free time. Going out is very hard process

The room has dormitory style bed, cupboard, a table and a chai. Boys hostel rooms are very bad compared to girls hostel which has new facilities. Bathroom and toilet in hostel is common but okay. The food provided in the hostel is standard and it's okay. Menu changes every month but there won't be change in the food onlu change in what day it is provided will be changed. The hostel is mandatory for students so registration process is pretty simple. The hostel are 9000 per month which includes laundry, food, room , water and electricity, wifi. But felt it was a little over charged. The college doesn't allow to rent a room or pg outside because this is a residential campus

Great College for academics as well as Extra curricular activities And lots of fun

The girls and boys have separate hostels inside the campus. Faculties have apartments. The canteen or mess facility is also inside the campus. We have an extra cafeteria which is run privately by a third party and there the payment is not included in the total fee. The food menu has both veg and nonveg included. As far as I know For North Indians have a different food menu if they choose that. The hostel fees and mess fees are included in the total fee that we pay. The accommodation is like 3 people in a room. The older hostels had congested rooms but now the new hostels are good as far as I know. In certain months like March, there is a chance for low water supply in bathrooms. But now I think they have rectified that issue.
